Chapter 23:
Ron had finally gotten the clear to go back to work. Harry and him set out on their usual way to the ministry. They walked in and many people greeted Ron and hoped he would get better soon. Harry hadn't realized how fast news traveled around here.

They walked into their office to see a sight that they did not expect.

Right next to Katilyn stood the one and only Draco Malfoy.

Ron glared at him but Harry remained cool. He had no reason to keep on having this feud they had. Draco spotted them and gave a slight smile.

Katilyn saw them also and smiled widely, "Ron I'm glad you are better", she beamed.

Ron looked at her distantly and scrunched his eyebrows in concentration.

"Ron?", Harry mumbled to him. He snapped out of his daze, "oh right er thanks". He nodded a bit toward Katilyn. She looked confused by his reaction but just decided to forget it and turned to Harry.

"So Harry I would like you to meet our newest employe", she signaled to Draco, "Draco Malfoy". Harry shook his hand, "yes we know each other". "Good well that makes things a lot easier", Katilyn beamed. "Yeah this will be just marry", Ron muttered. "What did you say Ron?", Katilyn asked oblivious. He shook his head, "nothing", he mumbled. Katilyn gave him another confused look before moving on, "So yeah treat him nicely guys". Harry nodded and smiled politely, "yes of course".

Katilyn smiled again, than turned to Draco, "Well I better keep showing you around. Nice to see you are better Ron", she said before turning around Draco on her heals.

Ron nodded back politely, than turned to Harry, "I have a killer headache mate. I'm going to go to my office". "Yes but don't work too hard or strain yourself", Harry replied acting a bit like a father. "Yeah yeah whatever", Ron rolled his eyes as he made his way to his office, hand on head.

Harry followed a moment after to his office room. He concentrated hard on all his work but ultimately Ron coming back to work made him remember about what had happened that day. He tried to put pieces together but there were no pieces to put together, that was the problem. **

It was around lunchtime that Ron came to his doorway, "I'm still alive", he smirked signaling his body. Harry laughed,"Well stay that way". "I will. Now come on Harry dad has mums steak and kidney pie for lunch", Ron said. Harry slowly got up, "Alright I'm coming".

They were about to exit their department when they ran into Boggs. He smiled once he saw Ron, "Ron! I heard what happened. I'm so glad you are better though". He clasped a hand on his shoulder. That made Ron wince a little but he smiled back, "Thanks Boggs". His greeting was warmer than the one he gave Katilyn. Boggs nodded his head at him, "Well I'm off for lunch. Would you guys care to join?". Harry shook his head, "no it's okay. We're good but thanks". "Anytime", he replied than smiled and exited.

Harry followed Ron to their usual spot in meeting Mr. Weasley for lunch. He smiled widely once he spotted them.

"Ron! Harry! Nice to see you Molly has made her excellent steak and kidney pie". "Great well let's eat", Ron declared already sitting down. Harry followed and took a seat next to Ron.

The three of them talked about the usual things they always talked about. Until finally it was all time for them to get back to work and they departed.

Harry and Ron walked in through the doors and went to their own offices.

For the rest of the day Harry visited Ron in his office a few times just to make sure he was still there. Every time he did Ron would roll his eyes and put a thumbs up. Harry would then nod and leave.
