THIS TITLE IS NOT A HANNAH MONTANA SONG!!!! Hah! Enjoy ^_^

THE OTHER SIDE OF ME

Leaving the barbies, I play with my toys,

Maybe mommy won't notice, I think I like boys,

I might be too young, it could be a phase,

So why does my heart flutter, when I meet his gaze?

-

Dad is back from work, a worn smile on his face,

He asks about that girl I took out on a date,

I tell him it was great, "I had my first kiss,"

As he lowered his lips, I made sure he wouldn't miss.

-

They now think I'm weird, eyes almost pop out their sockets

They yell the word "fag!" And "should've stayed in your closet!"

I hold my head high, strutting down the street with pride

Their words fall on deaf ears, with him by my side.

-

A smile cross my lips as I show them a finger,

Not the index, pinky, or ring one either,

They don't know me from Adam, so what can they tell,

They liked me when I was "normal" and now I must face hell?

-

I can't widen narrow minds, I can't help them see,

That I love the way I am, I'm as good as can be,

Out of my closet, I'm finally free,

Let me show you the other side of me.

**********************************************************************************************************. I literally just let my fingers run wild and this is what came out as a result ^_^
