"You fucking asshole! If you're gonna play the god damn game then you gotta learn how to fucking aim! You made us loose!" Marcel raged from the living room. I chuckled at his anger as I grabbed a drink from the fridge.

All of us had come over to visit each other for awhile. We were all having a great time, other than the raging.

It was also a little bit awkward being one of the only girls here. There was Simone, Kelly, Chrissy, and I here along with Scotty, Marcel, Tyler, Luke, Craig, Anthony, Smitty, and Nogla.

At times the boys could get a little bit rowdy but we had fun nevertheless. If only I didn't have to be in the same town as my ex. I know, that sounds rude and all but... he's just not a good person.

"Sapphire! Get in here and switch out with me! These people make me mad!" Marcel shouted. I groaned and walked into the living room to see that they were all playing prop hunt on Gmod.

I grabbed Marcels controller and signed onto my profile before joining their game.

I got put on the props team with Luke, Craig and Anthony. The other team had Scotty, Nogla, and Tyler.

"Sapphire, I know a good spot to hide." Luke whispered as he led me to a wall. I look at him quizzically before he smiled and opened a hidden door.

"What the-" He covered my mouth before I could say anything and picked up the tiki girl prop.

After we changed into the prop and quickly began running around the map which happened to be a house.

I went upstairs and hide behind a bathtub while Cartoonz tried hiding in the sink.

I watched as Tyler walked into the room and then started yelling "Tiki girl! Tiki girl!"

Luke ran to me behind the bathtub leading Tyler over to us. "Luke what the fuck!" I scream and make my prop run towards the exit of the bathroom, but before I could make it Tyler shot a noob tube killing me.

"Fuck you Luke, he didn't even see me at the start." I said causing Luke to chuckle and continue running from Tyler.

I heard a knock at the door and went to go answer it. When I opened the door I came face to face with, guess who, my ex.

"What do you want?" I hissed at him. He smiled and leaned against the door casually.

"I wanted to come talk to you. About us, getting back together." He said. I raised my eyebrows and shook my head.

"Hell no. Why the fuck would I ever get back together with you? And how did you even find me?" I ask him. He clicks his tongue and grabs my wrist tightly.

"Let me go!" I whisper shout so that no one in the main room hears me.

"Nope, I've searched for tar too long to find you and there's no way I'm letting you go now." He began to start pulling me out of the house when I kicked his knee causing him to let go of me and shout.

"Sapphire are you okay?" Someone asked from inside. I attempted to go inside when my ex grabbed me by my hair and slammed me against the wall outside, then grabbed me by my throat.

"Who's the guy inside huh? Your new boyfriend?" He began to tighten his grip on my throat slowly.

"Hey let go of her!" I heard Luke shout from the doorway. Suddenly my ex was knocked off of me and I fell to the ground wheezing and coughing.

Marcel came over to me and picked me up gently and walked me inside the house. I could hear Luke and the others yelling outside as the girls came to comfort me.

"You never talk to her again you asshat!" Someone yelled before I heard the door slam shut.

"Sapphire, can we talk upstairs?" Luke asks while walking over to me. I nod slowly and get up as he takes my hand.

We walk upstairs and into one of the guest rooms where he motions for me to sit on the bed and starts to examine my neck.

"Well, there's gonna be a bruise-" I sigh and roll my eyes.

"- Why didn't you tell us about your ex?" He asks. I sigh and lay backwards on the bed.

"I didn't want you guys to worry." I say softly. He grabs my hand and pulls me upwards into a hug.

I hug him back tightly.

"You could have told me Sapphire. I would have protected you. I will always protect you." He mumbled into my shirt.

"Why do you care so much?" I ask him. He sits down next to me and looks me straight in the eye.

"If I'm being honest with you, I really like you. Like, alot. I couldn't see myself without you." He said. My eyes widened and a smile spread across my face.

"Really?" I ask, almost too happily.

"Really." He assured. I grabbed his shirt by the collar, pulling him towards me and kissed him gently.

He smiled into the kiss and kissed me back.
