Today is the day. The talent show first ally rolled around and I couldn't be more excited. Or nervous? I know who all is going to be in it.
Evan will be playing the guitar with Mini while Nogla sings and Marcel plays the drums. (I don't fucken know if he plays the drums. Just roll with it.)
Then there was my two best friends Amber and Madeline preforming a mashup they did between Chains and Drag me down. Madeline would be playing the guitar and singing Drag me down while Amber had a tambourine and sang.
Then there was Rachel ( If that's your name then change it to... bob) she would be singing Stupid How by Nicki Minaj. In all honesty I think the song is reflected towards me since she hates my guts and everything.
Then, last but not least, there was Tyler. I don't know exactly what he was going to do but I was extremely nervous. He will be watching me dance to the Sound of Silence by Disturbed. Let's just say that I've had a crush on him for awhile now.
"Okay ladies and gentlemen! We would like to thank you all for coming to the (random school) talent show! We have give amazing acts tonight competing for the prize of five hundred dollars! Now, for our opening act, please welcome Amber (author-chans last name) and Madeline Burns!" The announcer said before coming backstage.
I hugged my best friends before pushing them through the curtains.
I couldn't help but smile as they sang together. They really sounded terrific. I jumped as I felt hands touch my shoulders.
"Gosh woman! Don't be so jumpy!" I hear the voice that gives me butterflies in my stomach say.
"I just can't help but to be nervous." I say smiling.
"So what's your talent?" Tyler asks me.
"That's for me to know and you to find out. What about you?" I ask him.
"That's for me to know and you to find out." He said mocking me. I playfully glare at him and punch his shoulder.
He looked into my eyes for a minute before looking away again with a slight blush.
"I gotta go get ready." Tyler muttered before walking back over to his friends.
I look at him before hearing Rachel (bob) say my name.
"What?" I ask nicely. She smirks at me and looks over to Tyler who I see wave at her. She waves back and returns smirking at me.
"He will never like you. You know that?" She asks me. I roll my eyes and look away from her.
"I don't need this rig-" I get cut off as I hear clapping and see Amber and Madeline walk back behind the curtain.
"Up next we have the dazzling Rachel (bob) singing a song." The announcer said before Rachel (bob) left to go on stage.
"Guys, your ears are about to start bleeding." I tell the girls as I walk over to them. We hear the music start and I visibly cringe.
The song made me want to throw up.
After awhile the security had to make Rachel (bob) get off stage and sit in the front row, where Amber and Madeline should be sitting.
"You guys need to go sit up front now." One of the stage managers told my friends. They nodded and left but not before wishing me goodluck.
