He leaned in and I quickly turned my head. He placed his forehead against my cheek and sighed.

"I'm sorry." He stated. With that he got off of the floor and walked out of the room.

I hurriedly climbed back into the bed and tried to go to sleep. But sleep did not come to me that night.

As the sun rose I smelled bacon and pancakes and got out of the bed. I used the hair tie on my wrist to tame my messy hair and walked out of the room.

There was a narrow hallway that looked as if it led to a living room, which it did.

In the living room was a small blue rug that contrasted with the white carpet and a black couch with a glass coffee table in front of it.

"I see you've woken up." A deep voice says behind me. I jumped a little and turn around to see Delirious with his mask on again.

"Um... I didn't go back to sleep." I mutter. He nods his head and turns around to walk into the kitchen.

     I sigh and follow him.

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you wearing your mask again?" I ask.

Dels POV

"If you don't mind me asking, why are you wearing your mask again?" (Y/N) asks. I knew she would ask that question.

"I don't necessarily like showing my face to anybody." I say a harsh tone. I flip over the bacon that had been cooking and turn to meet the gorgeous (E/C) eyes that have been permanently etched into my brain. My heart skipped a beat and I lost my breath.

"Then why weren't you wearing it earlier?" She pushed on. I took a second to compose myself and payed my attention to the food.

"That was a mere accident. I did not know that you were awake. I also did not mean to scare you last night, my apologies." I say as I turn off the stove.

"Are you hungry?" I ask as I grab a plate.

   "No." She mutters behind me.

"You haven't been eating much, recently." I comment. I turn around to see her confused face.

"How would you know?" She asks me. I give her a knowing look and a smile, although she wouldn't be able to see it.

"I think we both know how." I say as I turn my attention back to the food.

"You are going to eat while I shower. Not arguing." I say while I hand (Y/N) a plate that has pancakes and bacon on it. I push her towards the table and make her sit before grabbing the syrup for her. I also grab a fork, knife, and glass.

"If you want anything to drink the fridge is right there." I say pointing to the large rectangular object by the stove.

With that I walk out of the kitchen and towards my bedroom where I can proceed to take a shower. The stench of blood lingers over me and my clothes and that's not a very pleasant smell. Even for me, a psychotic serial killer.

I walked into the bathroom connected and took my jacket off before turning the shower on. I stripped out of the rest of my clothing, along with my mask, before stepping into the hot water.

I flinched a little as the hot water stung some of my injuries from yesterday. They were very minor and only ranged from small cuts to light grazes.

I ran my hands through my hair and closed my eyes to avoid getting water in them. It seems like every time I close my eyes I see her smile. Or her gorgeous hair that shines in the light. And sometimes her amazing eyes.

The way she makes me feel sith out even doing anything startles me. It's like... my whole world just becomes clearer and I know I have a purpose, to be with her. And I know that sounds really weird.

When ever I hear her soft voice it sends a series of butterflies through my stomach and when she laughs my heart skips a beat.

And I just have this need to protect her. No matter what happens. If she doesn't feel the same way the so be it. It won't stop me from looking after her.

After twenty minutes in the shower I get out and grab a towel, wrapping it around my waist. I walk into my room and grab a plain T-shirt and a pair of jeans.

After I slip on my clothes I walk into the living room to see (Y/N) fast asleep on the couch. Thank God. I just realized that I forgot my mask.

I walk back into my room before putting it back on and then going to (Y/N). I picked her up carefully and brought her to the room she slept in last night before setting her down.

As I was about to walk away her small hand grabbed my wrist causing me to stop in my tracks.

"Will you lay down with me?" She asked sleepily. I considered it for a minute before shaking my head.

"Your half asleep and not thinking straight. You eould wake up and get mad at me." I tell her. She shakes her head and pulls me towards the bed.

She moved over and patted the space next to her.

I stood still, unsure if this was the best idea. I was pulled out of my thoughts as she grabbed my sleeve and pulled me into the bed next to her.

"You make it hard for me to give you a chance." She mumbled into my shirt. I chuckled lightly and we layed there for awhile.

As her breathes became more even I turned on my side and wrapped my arms around her body, pulling her to my chest.

It feels good to have someone here with me. And to not be alone for once. To know that she is actually going to give me a chance makes me smile lightly.

I slowly reach up and take my mask off while setting it on the table. I pull her body closer to me and she buries her head into my shirt.

    I guess this is happiness.
