My hands shook slightly as I held my hand phone to my ear listening to Harry's instructions. After I had read and re-read the note about twenty times and opened the gift box to see what was inside I had called him immediately.

He seemed surprised at first but then I could practically hear the excitement in his voice last night when he told me to relax while he thought of a plan. The fact that I didn't have to plan anything made me relax but that was about the extent of my relaxation.

I spent the rest of the night tossing and turning in a restless daze of fatigue. Every time I woke up I would glance at the window, the paranoia of seeing a dark figure standing there had wrapped itself around me like second skin.

School seemed bearable with Harry around. People were too afraid to pick on me when he was around so I stuck to him like leech whenever I could. He seemed nicer after dinner last night. He only glared at me once today which was honestly a record for him and when I sat down at his table for lunch he didn't even bother protesting. I tried to find out his "brilliant" plan when we were at lunch but people were staring so he told me he would call me later at night.

So here I was listening to his instructions for tomorrow night. The night Zayn was supposed to take me out on a date. That idiot. He had conveniently disappeared after the party that night and now he wanted to take me out on a date? Well I'll show him.

A part of me was happy that he had resurfaced again. It meant I wasn't crazy but it also meant that he wanted something and that was enough to give me palpitations. Whether it was to "bed" me or to drink my blood, either way I wasn't having it.

There's going to be no date night whatsoever tomorrow but I was going to use that chance to expose him for the monster that he was. I held the phone tightly with new found resolve flowing through my veins.

"Okay, so you'll come over at seven and help me set up? And then you'll hide in my closet while I pretend to wait for him to come?" I confirmed his plan just to be sure.

"Yup, I'll bring the holy water and my video camera, all you need to do is hide some garlic where you can easily reach it. Remember vampires are super fast so you need to be able to reach it quickly," Harry mumbled from across the line. It sounded like he was chewing something like a carrot.

"Okay, hide the garlic somewhere reachable," I repeated whilst I looked around for a suitable place. It was either under my blanket or beneath my dressing table. I would decide for sure later. "And the holy water?"

"I'll keep that with me. If he tries to attack you I'll use the element of surprise to throw it on him," he said. "All you need to do is string him along for me to catch him on video or for me to see him for myself."

"You can't record vampires on camera," I answered bluntly. I remembered telling him this before.

"Just throw something at him and make sure he catches it. Anyway what's important is that I see him, then we'll know for sure that he's real," He replied.

"He is rea-," I stopped myself knowing there was no point in arguing with him. "Okay fine, I'll throw something at him."

"And if he tries anything funny just throw a piece of garlic at him. I heard vampires hate that stuff," Harry said. "And then I'll jump out of the closet and throw holy water at him."

"Umm, okay sounds good I guess," I replied halfheartedly.  His plan was good but were a few pieces of garlic and some holy water enough? We were just two teenagers in over their heads thinking they could take on a ageless vampire. I mean God knows how old he really was and the amount of experience he had.

"What's wrong Rosalie? I don't need to be there to know you're worrying about something," he stated confidently.

"I'm not worried, okay fine maybe I am, a little. I just hope it works," I bit my lip. "What if he hears your heart beat and he decides to kill us both or not come at all?"
