"Stay away from me," I warned hopelessly, earning a chuckle from him.
In a matter of seconds I was pinned against the wall and his hands were wrapped possessively around my waist.
"My sweet little Rosalie. We both know I can never stay away. Why d...
I practically jumped out of Harry's car and turned to face Zayn's jeep from across the road. Even though I could only see his side profile as he got in I could already tell that he was smirking from ear to ear.
Asshole.
There was something about him that evoked a response in me no one ever has. A mixture of desire, fear and anger flooded through me all at once. It was an odd combination but I couldn't help it. He had the distinct ability to make my knees weak with just a simple smirk and it made me so infuriated to feel so..so vulnerable.
First he ruined my parents relationship then he made me feel like a fool in his car and now he was teasing me like nothing had happened. I swear this creature was going to be the death of me. I bunched my hands into fists and marched past Harry's car completely forgetting that it was still running.
I was about to cross the road when I felt a pair of hands grab my shoulders and pull me back. I didn't need to look behind to see who it was.
"What the hell are you doing!?" Harry exclaimed as he pulled me away from the road.
I briefly glanced at Harry's shocked face and then turned back to Zayn's car. He had started the engine already and any minute now he would drive away leaving me in all my angst.
"We have to follow him," I quickly said and then I wriggled out of Harry's grip and ran back into his car.
Harry just stared at me in confusion and then he followed my gaze. His face lit up in realization when he saw who I was staring at and he quickly got in as well.
"No, were not. That's not what sane people do," He put on his seat belt but made no effort to drive away in the other direction. His eyes were fixed on Zayn's car as well.
Harry was a curious one and that was why we worked so well together. My current situation was a mystery and he loved puzzles, it sort of went hand in hand. I realized Harry's support was one of the only things keeping me going so far. If he hadn't walked into my life at the time that he did I would have broken down and become a crumbling mess a long time ago.
I stared at the unmoving Harry and my lips curved into a smile. I knew he was considering it, he just needed a little push.
"We've never seen his parents or his house. For all we know he could be living in an abandoned house, sleeping in a coffin or something," I urged. "I've already agreed to your terms. I'm going for counselling now but I'm not going to give up on proving his existence to you."
I gripped at the edges of the seat desperately waiting for Harry's reaction. Across the road Zayn had pulled out of his parking spot and he was now driving away. We were running out of time.
"Ah, what the hell. It's not like I have anything important to do anyway," Harry muttered making my smile widen.
He made a 'U' turn and began tailing Zayn's car all the while keeping a safe distance.
"You're lucky I'm in a good mood today," Harry said with his eyes on the road.
I nodded my head in agreement as I glanced at the shops we were passing by. I needed to remember the way to his house. "Thank you so much. I have no idea what I would do without you."
It was silent after I voiced my thoughts and I turned to face Harry only to see his cheeks now a bright shade of pink.
"Are you blushing?" I just had to ask. The scene before me was beyond priceless. I had never seen Harry Styles looking shy before and I don't think anyone in our school ever has which is why it surprised me so much.
