Glaiza's POV

I was really surprised seeing that he is already here in the Philippines than seeing him wearing the white coat. I didn't expect that we will see each other again.

"Hi G . . Long time no see . ." As he said and he offer his hand

I couldn't move and just looked at his hand and started to analyze and remember Richard in my life.

'A friend he is still a friend right? . . After what happened to us . . We're still friends . .'

Don't be too malicious because Richard is not my ex, he is actually a friend who helped me when I was so devastated studying in oxford because that's the moment that I keep on struggling about how unfair life is when I lost my parents. But when he knew that his Dad betrayed my parents that's the moment that we argued about things and lost our friendship and to tell the truth that made me realized that I don't need someone who can lean onto not until Rhi came, everything changed when Rhian came.

But seeing Richard right now made me hope, that maybe we can still fix the friendship that we lost.

Richard and I decided to talk first and let Rhi rest since we are still waiting for Rhi's lab result. And as we are already in the waiting area outside the emergency room no one is actually talking.

We keep on looking sideways and avoiding each other but the silence were break when Richard started to talk.

"So how are you G? . . It's been a long time since we saw each other . ." As he said and I kist answered in a nice way since It's still awkward for us

"I'm good Chard . . I'm good . ."

I heard him chuckle and it made me curious that's why I looked at him and raised my eyebrow

"What's so funny?! . ." As I asked in a bitchu tone and she just laughed first before answering my question

"You're still the same G . . You didn't change at all . . I just missed you calling me Chard, because you're the only friend who calls me that . ." Then I got paralyzed hearing what he said

'Friend . . He call me a friend . .' And he stopped talking and just snap a finger in front of my face and it got me back to my senses

"You're spacing out G . . Did I said something wrong? . ."

I felt the joy in my heart and couldn't stopped myself celebrating inside. I just gave him a smile and told him what I really feel

"You don't know how greatful I am to hear that I'm still your friend . . I really thought that we won't be seeing each other again since the day I confronted you . ."

"That's all in the past now G . . And I want to help you that's why I'm here in the Philippines . ."

What he said made me gain hope but upon remembering the people who are betrayjng me I started to be a negative person

"To help me? . . How will you help me Chard? . . I don't really know if what I have will lead me to the one who killed my parents . . All of the people around me are betraying me . . The only person I can trust now is myself, my Advisor and Rhian . ." As I said to him with a doubt in myself

"You can trust me G . . And besides Dad told me something before he died . . He told me how Corona move and plan his tactics . ." And that made my mind interested

Upon waiting for half an hour a nurse gave Chard the result of Rhian's EEG and we started to walk back to Rhian laughing ans smiling with each other.

"Hi Rhian are you still feeling dizzy? . . I already have your results here in the envelope . ." As Chard said and he raised the envople that he is holding and I just walk closer to my girl.

"Don't worry Baby . . Everything will be fine I promised . ." I hold her hand and kissed her for her to relax a bit in hearing out her EEG

Chard just smiled at us and open the envelope and upon reading the envelope I saw his happy face became serious, I keep on calling his name but he is still paralyzed looking at the result.

"Chard are you alright? . . Is there something wrong at my girlfriend's lab result?! . ." As I asked in concern and Chard got back to his senses and began to talk

"G the results of Rhian's EEG is unbelievable . . She has an accident yes as she mentioned . . But the machine have detected an abnormal result in her brain . . Her blood in the brains are good and it is flowing nicely, but her veins results are over normal . . And this is actually a first time result in the area of medicine . . I haven't experience or heard a result just like this . . This EEG are really impossible . ."

"What do you mean impossible Chard? . . There's no such thing as impossible in this world now . . We have technologies in this century that's why everything is possible . ." As I keep on pushing but he keep on insisting that Rhian's Result are far from normal

"I figured out that you'll be saying that . . But G, you have to believe me . . This results are more than just drinking a memory loss pills . . It's actually triple than that pills . ."

"Memory loss pills? . ." As I said in curiosity

"Are you saying that Rhian's result are more than a memory loss pills? . ."

"Yeah, that's what I said . . Actually it's triple than that . ." Then what Chard said made me remember something; something my Mom and Dad were talking about, the idea about the Project Polaris

"This is a great Idea Cristy . . This will be the first Memory Loss Serum that will be created in the world"

"But Benedict it has a lot of Side effects . . This might give us an unnecessary . ."

"Yes it will give as unnecessary result . . A result more than a memory loss pills . . And this will be a huge deal . . Because this will be the first for this generation . ."

I got back to my senses confirming that my parents did said those things and the Project Polaris crossed my mind.

"Project Polaris . ." As I whisper and Chard started to agree

"Yes . . I remember when you said that the Project Polaris more than the Memory Loss pills . . It's possible that Rhian's results are related to the Project Polaris"

"But it can't be! . . It really can't be Chard! . . The Project Polaris were gone the moment my parents died . . No Viles were retrieved in the lab the moment they saw my parents! . . Unless . ."

"Unless what G? . ." as Rhian started to talk nad to tell the truth I really did forgot that she is here listening to everything we are talking about

So I caressed her face and look in her eyes, I keep on avoiding to tell the truth but she insisted that's why I have no choice but to tell her and she got surprise hearing it out.

"Unless your Step Father, Dr. Connor Navuzki kept an extra Project Polaris in his collection . ."
