Glaiza's POV

Days and weeks had past and we continue being strangers to others. I'm just her teacher and she is just my student. My heart wants to break the wall between us and telling me to stop the distance already but my mind keeps on giving me this idea that I should gave her the space that she needed.

'The space that she asked for'

"Okay class, so acid . . This is actually a chemical that dissolves metal . . Acid is said to be composed of what two chemical compound?" As I asked and everyone raised their gand except Rhian who I saw worried looking at her phone

"Ms. Navutzki is everything fine? . ." Then she stood up so sudden with a stress face

"Yes Prof Thea . . It's just about my family . ."

"What about your family? . . Did something happened?" As I asked and suddenly a tear fall from her eyes and that made me worried

"It's just . . My Dad . . He's . ." As she started a heavy breathing and that made me worried about her

"Okay calm down Ms. Navutzi . ." As I said and suddenly dismissed the class early to accompany Rhian in the hospital

"Prof you don't have to do this . ." As she said while we are walking right now to my car

"I know when you became worried for someone . . And I won't allow you to drive alone . ."

"Glaiza stop! Okay?! . . I can handle myself! . ." As she said but I did let her and just continue holding her hand and let her in my car

"You know you can't stop me Rhian . . Just let me do it this time! . . Besides no one will drive you there and I'm not capable on letting you drive with that condition" as I scolded her and I end up winning in our arguement but still she have this serious expression in her face.

"I need to see if he is alright though . . . Connor and TJ are the only biological family that I have left . . I don't want to lose another important person again . ." As I said And I sensed that she looked at me with concern but look away after a fiew bit.

As soon as we got in the said hospital I followed her to the emergency room where her family is and there I saw Tita Clara, Mike, and TJ.

Rhian approached her Mom and talked to her so I was end up with the two former friends that used to be with me and it became our reunion, so we gathered the three of us in a nice coffee shop near the hospital.

"Long time no see Glaiza . . Or shall I say Dr. Althea Guevarra . . I heard from the new that you're already a famous Biochemistry Doctor now . . No wonder why you didn't come back" as TJ said and that made me happily smirked at him
