Rhian's POV
"Come on Rhi . . We have to go . ." As Mike told me waiting in my door.
I grab my pouch and phone and just proceed with him downstairs. As soon as we are all ready we ride on the car and drove it to the cemetey, were my Father is.
"Happy Birthday Papa . . We really miss yoh so much . ." As I said when we got in the cemetery and just sit down beside the tomb of my Father.
It's been 2 years since we got back in the US and I accepted TJ's offer to work for him as a CFO in Mercury Lab Corp., the company that he inherited on his Dad. The truth is TJ and Connor admitted everything to us, especially how TJ shot my Father.
• Flasback •
"I'm very sorry Rhi . ." I couldn't actually take off my eyes on him because I couldn't believe at all that he is the man who really killed my Father.
"You killed my Dad?! . . You killed my Dad?! . ."
"Rhi It's not my intention to . ."
"You married my Mom after killing my Dad and you didn't even feel the guilt?! . . What kind of a man are you?! . ." As I said angrily and tears started to fall ffom my eyes upon analyzing everything
"I married your Mom because I felt the guilt! . . That's why I didn't let your Mom raised You and Mike alone! . ."
"Even if you did that won't change the fact that you killed my Father! . . And you're the reason why all of this happened! . ."
I was about to run when suddenly Connor stopped me by holding my hand and kneel in front of me.
"Please forgive me Rhi . . I will correct everything just please forgive me . ." As Connor said
• End of Flashback
It turns out that my Mom choosed to have a divorce to Connor rather than forgive him. And if you're asking where Connor is? He actually choosed to turn himself in and he even decided to tell the police that he was the one who killed the Galuras, he did protected me.
"Hi Uncle Gareth . . Things are actually great here now . . You don't have to worry about your love ones because they are in good hands" we just looked at TJ who spoke up and later on laugh at him since what he said was funny but true since TJ is the one who's taking care of us all
I actually work for TJ now, I didn't accept his offer as a CFO of the Mercury Lab Corp., since I don't want to misuse his kindness, but anyway Mike became the COO of his company since Mike is qualified for that position. Anyway we still treat each others as brothers and sisters since all of us are helping each other out.
"We are in great shape Dear . . You have nothing to worry since we are all helping each other . . We are happy that we are together . ." As Mom said and all of just go near her and hugged her.
After visiting Dad in the cemetery we all decided to have dinner since we all are already hungry. We decided to go to a steak house and order some nice food, after waiting for some quite minutes the foods were serve in our table.
"Finally! . . I'm really hungry . ." But before Mike slice his steak Mom scold him
"Mike! . ." And Mike just looked at Mom with a curious face
"Yes? . ."
"Are you forgetting something? . ." And he just looked at me and TJ with a question mark in his face and we justt laugh
"Why don't you pray for our food Mike? So that we can start eating"
"Ow . . Right . . My bad . ."
Then he started praying and ging thanks to God, and after the wonderful prayer we started eating.
After eating I still couldn't stop looking at the clouds since we are in the window corner and can't stop thinking about her.
Yes, I'm still thinking about Glaiza since I didn't get the chance to know how she was because she actually disappeared the night of the whole revelation. I tried to find her and I did looked for her but I didn't get any answer and lose my hope in finding her.
"Rhi . . Are you okay? . ." As TJ asked me and it got me back to my senses but didn't get the chance to answer back
"You miss her don't you? . ." As Mom asked and I just smiled at them telling them how I really miss Glaiza.
"You know what you don't have to worry because I know any minute the Galura Corporation will call me and will tell me the where about of G . ." As Mike tried to cheer me up but I just gave him a quick smile accepting that G won't dare to see me.
"Don't worry about me . . I'm fine now . . I just miss her that's all . . I know for the fact that what I did to her is unforgivable . . It's not that easy to accept the fact that I killed her parents . ."
"G . . Until when are you going to blame yourself? . ." As TJ ask concernly and I couldn't stop my tears falling from my eyes in analyzing what he said
"Until I finally convince myself that G will never come back to me . ."
I wipe my tears and look again at the clouds trying myself to feel the pain.
"Rhi you can't blame yourself forever . . You know you have to let it go . . It's all in the past now . . And you have to start keep moving forward and move on. ."
"But I don't want to move on . . I don't want to forget about her . ."
I still look at the clouds mesmerizing how lovely it is and suddenly G's face crossed in my mind and it made me smile bitterly
'I miss you G . . I miss you so much . . I'm really hoping to see you again . . I'm waiting for the right time to tell you what really happened and somehow you'll forgive me . ."
