The room we now stood in was the exact opposite of what the one Lupe and I were locked in. It was actually a large room, with furniture filling it and decor along the walls.

Sadly, the windows were boarded shut so I couldn't actually see what the surroundings were.

"I'm getting impatient," Lupe grumbles and crosses her arms. She refused to sit in any of the chairs, or acknowledge the food on display. She was like on red alert right now.

I, however, made myself rather comfortable on one couch. I blame the the drug, I still had a massive headache. The room was spinning again and I really wish it would stop.

"We've been here for hours!" Lupe begins pacing around, jiggling door handles, and shaking the boards in the window. "We need to get out!"

Sighing heavily, I slowly sit up from my wonderful position.

"First things first, calm down. If they were going to hurt us or kill us they would have gotten it over with. Haven't you seen any movies?" Lip turns to me and rolls her eyes.

"Now is not the time for jokes."

"I'm not joking, honestly." I hold my hands up in surrender. "Second, there is no way out. We were kidnapped by werewolves, my guess? Two humans won't be much of a challenge to them."

My words begin to sink in I guess, because Lupe slumps in a chair defeated.

"Oh and third, we've been in her for forty-three minutes. There's a clock on that desk." I jerk my hand to the left before dropping down in the chair.

"So you're just giving up? Laying there like nothing? Just giving into them?" Lupe seems on the verge of hysteria.

"Well, they haven't actually come in here and made any demands. So, until then, I am going to nurse this horrible headache."

My eyes shut again and we lapse into silence. I wasn't just giving up, but it's not like I had a plan right now. I have no clue where we are, who took us (besides that Cara was an accomplice), and no reason as to why.

I'm not some know it all, prepared for anything, badass. I'm a seventeen year old human who was kidnapped by werewolves. Odds weren't in my favor!

"Don't you look comfortable."  His voice makes anger boil inside me, so I was right. "Sadly I'm not in the mood for cuddles, so why don't you get your ass up?"

"Always the gentleman, eh Zach?" Swinging my legs of the couch I move to a sitting position but refuse to stand up. "Maybe next time, a little lower omg he dosage. My head is killing me!"

I thought I was funny, was I not? Apparently because next thing I know Zach is in front of me , gripping my arms, and pulling me to my feet.

His grip was impossibly tight, his fingers dug into the flesh and I'm surprised he didn't draw blood.

"I am not in the mood." His voice is low and full of anger, something that really scared me. "Now keep your pretty mouth shut or you'll regret it."

I try to swallow the lump in my throat so I can talk, but it doesn't work. Instead I just give a small nod. He lets me go and turns to go to another chair.

Lupe rushes to my side. "You're already getting bruises." Her voice is fully of worry and I look down, she was right. Dark marks already started to form from his grip.

"What do you want? Why are we here?" She demands, taking a step in front of me. Her dress was a bit torn and covered in dirt, like mine.

"Isn't it obvious, Serena I told you this before."

I give him a look, telling him that I have no clue what he was talking about. What was he talking about? He never told me anything, never gave me a hint that he might do this.

"No... I don't think you did." I stop confused. Did he forget to tell me or hint about his cryptic plan?

"I didn't?" He now seems equally confused as we both try to think back.

An awkward silence fills the room. He was like the worst "villain" ever. A man (when had he gotten here?) stood off in the, lets out a small laugh. Zach quickly silenced him with a glare.

"Well it's simple, your mine. I won't let some pampered alpha take you." His voice is sharp and I sigh heavily.

Really?

"Really, come on!" I slump back into the couch. "All this because you still aren't over our breakup? Move on dude, it was like a year ago!"

I mean he broke up with me, you'd think that he'd have been over and done. And just as things go well he has to come back and be a pain in my ass.

"Last time I checked I was Daniel's mate, not yours. Which means you have a mate out their! Someone who you'll love, and will mask you forget about me. Go find her!" I make a shewing motion. "And let me go."

"Do you know why I left?" He seemed calm now, which kind of scared me. Instead of talking I just shake my head. "Do you know why I came back?"

Again, I shake my head in response. We never actually sat down and had a conversation. For good reason to.

"It was you," he came closer and sat beside me. For once he seemed relaxed, not so harsh and cruel. Not that I wasn't staying on guard just in case. "I left for you, I came back for you, I'm doing this for you. There is no one but you."

Okay, he's a crazy, obsessive, stalker. Of course I would be the one to have dated a psycho.

"You think my mate compares to you? I've met her and she's nothing compared to you." His hands grip mine and his stare never wavers. I can see Lupe watching from my peripheral vision. "Cara means nothing when I have you."

"Wait, what?" I practically choke on my spit.
