His Angel

Chapter Seven

I've decided I want Eliza Taylor as Serena. Her hair isn't as long as I imagined and she doesn't have the green eyes I wanted. But, Eliza is a great actress and I love her.

I stumbled forward and grabbed onto the counter and laughed loudly. "Hey you okay?" I turned to see some guy, a very familiar liking guy. Did we go to school together? Well obviously we are at this party!

"Yeah," I slur "just gonna get some air." I stumble out side and fill my lungs with fresh air. How long have we been at the party? Somewhere between drinks and songs I lost he girls, and the number of drinks I've had. Shouts and cheers fill my ears and I turn to see the beer pong table. "Who needs a partner?" I asks happily and stumble over.

"Oh my god! Come on S me and you." Bianca grabs my hand and drags me to one side of the table. "Who wants to play us?" She yells and a bunch of guys move our way, including Alan and Zach.

"Mind if we play?" Zach smirks and I giggle. Did I giggle at my asshole exboyfriend? He was cute, and really hot. "Well let's play."

Daniels POV

Cara and I were sorting through the files and making funeral plans. Not even two weeks in the place of alpha and my pack is attacked by rogues and three of my men died. I felt horrible for their families, all of them had mates and children. They were the three men I had posted at the school to watch Cara. Were they after her?

Cara was ignoring me because I refused to let her go to he school and meet Serena at the soccer game. Funny how it was me keeping her from my mate, even though my mate doesn't want to see me. A sharp pain shot through me thinking about it. It didn't take a genius to realize that she hasn't come over as often as my parents said she usually did.

"Dan it is going to be two thirty in the morning can't we do this tomorrow?" Cara had bags under her eyes that were still puffy from all her crying.

"No I want this done for the fam-"

I was cut off when Cara's phone started going off, she answered it and put it on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hey Cara its Alexander from your third period." Why was this guy calling my sister this late? I will mess him up.

"Uh hey, what's up?" Cara looked at me, she was just as confused as me.

"Well I heard you weren't at the party so I thought I should call you. I just bumped into Serena and she is beyond drunk, and it doesn't help that she is starting her second round of beer pong." Cara groaned.

"I'm on my way, just keep an eye on her." Cara hung up and slipped her coat on over her sweats and t-shirt.

"I'm coming." I tell her. I could see the hesitance in her eyes, but she was my mate so I could care less what she says. "Where is she at? You didn't ask!" I pulled open my car door and slammed it as I got in.

"I didn't have to, if there is a party it is most likely at Gerald Adams house." She buckled up and I started the car. "Just drive and I'll tell you where to go."

Serena's POV

I danced to Acquainted by the Weekend, letting the music fill me. "You look great," someone whispers and two warm hands grab my waste. I lean into Zach's chest and smile. He was so sweet, why did I break up with him? "Let's go."

Sleep sounded nice, that's where we were going. He began tugging me away and a little voice in the back of my head started to scream. Why didn't I want to go with him?

"Come on, babe." His voice was so soothing but the glint in his eyes. I didn't like it. I started shaking my head and struggled to pull away from him. "Let's go." I shook my head and tried to see where we were going. Why weren't we going to the car? We were going towards the trees that surrounded Gerald's house.

"No," I tried to say but I'm pretty sure it sounded like nothing. I began to push him away but it was no use, I could barley walk and see in front of me. "Let me go." Zach just laughed. We were in the middle of dense trees now, and the music from the house was barley audible.

I gasped when my back was harshly pushed against a tree. Zach was looming over me with a wicked smile, and I couldn't help but whimper. I remember all the arguing, the fights, when he got mad. Why I didn't trust him.

"Leave me alone." I pushed and slapped his chest but he continued to laugh. "Stop!" His hands were traveling down my arms until he reached my wrist and pinned them behind me. I began to squirm, I needed to get out of his grip, I needed to get away from him.

He began placing sloppy kisses on my neck. It felt disgusting, it felt wrong, it felt like I was betraying... Daniel?

"Stop! Please," I cried and continued to try and push him away. Hot tears were rolling down my face and I screamed when one of his hands began sliding down my body. Right when he was about to slip under my dress his weight was jerked off of me and I fell to my knees.

I felt someone grab my arms and yank me up. I turned and smiled when I saw Cara. "You made it!" I cheered. Her face was grim and I sagged into her arms. She sat me on the floor, and I hardly noticed my hands were shaking. All of me was shaking.

"Daniel no!" My head snapped up at the mention of Daniel. He's here?

Zach was on the floor with blood spilling from his nose, and Daniel was standing over him shaking. Cara jumped up started to pull him back.

"We have to go! Daniel, don't do this. Let's take Serena home." Finally his eyes snapped to me and the once beautiful blue eyes were now pitch black. "Let's go," she whispered.

Daniel started making his way towards us when Zach struggled up from the floor and laughed. "Yeah, take your little bitch mate and run. Alpha." What the hell? Did Zach take something?

When I thought they were all going to laugh about him being crazy, the impossible happened. Daniel turned and jumped at Zach, but when he landed on Zach he was a huge black wolf.

I began to move back, away from the two wolves fighting, away from Cara who was yelling at the wolves, and the fear that was crawling up my body. Before I got far I tripped and my head hit a branch.

I felt the blood ooze out of my head and the darkness took me.
