When I walked into the room and took a seat she began to cough. Shaking the whole bed, she gripped the side bars as if she was scared. You could see that her hands and body were just completely weak. I jumped up from my spot and ran into the hall looking for her doctor. As soon as my brown eyes landed on Dr. Daniels I pulled him into her room without saying a word. When he got in his eyes grew wide as he looked straight at her.

"She isn't supposed to be awake yet. Her stats would have shown any activity, and we got nothing. We didn't even have any time to get the tube out" He scurried around her bed and quickly called for the nurse. Seconds later the nurse put her back under and they both smiled at me, "She will wake up here in an hour. So, if we could ask you to step outside so we can take the tube out, that would be greatly appreciated."

I nodded my head in agreement and left the room with my phone in my hand to call Kinsey. After calling her family I called Anna to get her skinny ass here to support me in such a big deal. Not that it has shown a lot, but I don't have a lot of family around here, so my dad is the only person I really lean on. So, when a family member takes the time to come and see me in a crisis it hits me right in the feels.

After I got off the phone with everyone, I sat in the chair right outside her room and let my head fall into my hands. I could tell I looked like a mess already, the shower did do me some good. But, my basketball shorts and t-shirt and Nike slides are not working it. Anna was the first one to get here, well because she doesn't have a herd of children to round up. Here I sat with Anna beside me, I was excited, but all the emotions are hitting me and it's driving me insane. I wanna cry from happiness but then again, I want to cry because this all happened to her.

"Aaron!" I looked up from my position I was sitting in and seen my little man running towards me.

"Hey buddy" I chuckled engulfing him in a giant hug. "Is my sister better yet?" He asked sweetly making my heart break to pieces.

She has so much love for her and she doesn't even know it. Her family would go ends out for her and I don't think she would know it. I let Ayden down and looked at Kinsey who was pacing back and forth in front of the door. I looked at Ayden and stood up patting the seat for him to sit down. I bent down so I was looking at him, "She's not sleeping anymore and that's a good thing. We just got to keep all that love we have in our hearts and give it to her. Okay?"

Ayden looked unsure for a moment but then put a fist up for me to do a fist bump with him, "That's my little man"

I stood up and kissed his head and walked over to Kinsey, her blonde hair was a big mess. Her face was red and puffy as if she had been crying all day and got no sleep. "she will be fine" I whispered letting a small tear slide down my left cheek.

"That's the thing, will she? We can't pay for this, we have nothing Aaron. Nothing. No money to pay for the medication we have no money for nothing. If my damn mother would just quit being such a piece of shit I wouldn't have to worry about it. This is going to take everything out of us, and nobody sees that except for us. We're doomed" Right there was how much I noticed they were actually in trouble. They needed all the help they could possibly get.

"I'll help. I will move in and help out of something, I can't let you guys fall apart. Not yet, not now. I will help with everything, I will make sure the security is perfect and we will throw your mom out." I was confident that this would work. I was confident that this all would work out perfectly.

Until I went into the room.

After the doctors and nurses left the room only 2 people at a time would go in. I chose that Anna and I would go in together so I could introduce them and it won't cause any chaos. Kinsey and Ayden went in first and we waited all the way until we could finally go in.

When we got in she had woken up, she woke up when Tyla and Brinica went in together. You could hear the cheers and the excitement, even a little bit of sobbing from each of the girls. But when Anna and I got to go in everything changed.

I slowly opened the door and exposed my face, the face that I had struggled with keeping happy these past few days. I moved more so I could fully go in, she was talking to one of the nurses who were giving her some water so that she could strengthen up so she could talk.

"Hey firefly" I smiled at her in a very cheerful voice, I was happy, to say the least.

"Uh hello?" she questioned tilting her head to look at me.

I chuckled a little bit and moved closer, "You have no idea how much you scared all of us. I never left your side though. Oh, and this is my cousin Anna, she flew all the way from Washington to be here for a support system" I moved even closer and went to grab her hand but she moved it away from me.

"What's wrong?" I asked frantically. She looked at me and Anna and furrowed her eyebrows together, "What's your name?"
