The next day came quickly and clearly. I knew what was happening today, I was getting discharged from the hospital.
I excited woke up at 5:30 this morning ready to go home. Even though my nurse had told me I wasn't leaving until around 8, I couldn't help but just get excited.
After hour of waiting, Aaron finally showed up at my hospital room door with his hands in his pockets and his hair done perfect. He already has me stuck thinking about him. Now he adds the perfectly done hair and nice jeans that make his ass look great.
I slowly climbed out of the bed already dressed. I had on a pair of leggings Kinsey ran and bought me for this very special day, and I also had on a big t-shirt that let me feel comfy and free.
"You ready miss lady?" Aaron asked moving the wheel chair so that I could sit down on it.
"I was born ready!" I giggled sitting down.
He began to push me out of the room and I could only imagine good things, "I'm going to stay with you guys for awhile if that's alright" Aaron said before pushing me onto the elevator.
My eyes went wide, and I was thankful he couldn't see them. I couldn't process words so I just let out a little, "Okay"
The doors opened up and he chuckled pushing me out, "you aren't use to this are you?"
"Not at all"
"That's fine"
Once we got outside I felt the semi chilly air for the first time in like forever. It felt like years, but it was actually only like a week or so.
He had the car parked out front so that he could get there easier and take the chair back in.
I looked at the car and smiled widely, "My car!"
"Remember when I told you I was going to fix it up for you? Well, I did more than just fix it up. I gave this Bitch a makeover"
I was in awe with seeing my car. There was new paint on it and the rust was gone. It was like brand new.
Aaron helped me out of the wheel chair and into the passenger side. I slid in and got a whiff of something I had smelt before. It was awfully familiar.
That's when I let my head go wild and actually get some good out of it. I noticed a nice for truck that I had fallen in love with the first time I had laid eyes on it.
"Do you have a silver truck?" I asked quickly before the thought left my mind.
Aaron stopped what he was doing and leaned against the door, "Uh.. yeah"
"I remember, this smell. This smell was in a nice silver truck that I loved to look at" I got a little excited, I was remember things!
"Oh my god! Yes, yes! I have a silver truck, and I don't know about the smell but yes!" He bent down and grabbed my hands, "You will come back to me"
I nodded my head repeatedly, "I hope"
After he put the wheel chair away he got in the drivers side and turned on my car, "Do you remember anything else?"
He then put the car and drive and began the ride home.
I shook my head no and looked down at my hands in my lap. I fiddled with my fingers, I didn't wanna get his hopes up, and I definitely didn't want to get my own hopes up.
"Hey, it's okay not to remember. None of this is your fault. Okay?" He reached over and grabbed my hand squeezing it a little bit.
That's when something else hit me.
I've definitely seen these hands before. I lifted his hand up and ran my thumbs across it, "I remember your hands" I whispered.
I rubbed my thumbs over them again and then I smiled, "I definitely remember that hands"
Aaron looked over at me and smiled, "that's my girl"

When we got to my house I had remembered a one more thing. The tree where I first saw the silver truck.
Aaron helped me put of the car and wrapped his arm gently around my waist helping me walk to the front door.
He went to open it but it was locked so he reached in his pocket and grabbed a key. Sticking it in the lock he twisted the key unlocking it so we could get I.
I slightly pushed open the door and he pushed it the rest of the way open. I walked in and looked around, "Everything is changed"
"Yeah, you're aunt helped pay for a LOT of this stuff. The paint and the new furniture was just left overs from her house. But the picture frames and the pictures those were her and Kinsey's idea. Here is actually one of you and me." He helped me sit down on this what looks like a brand new couch.
I looked up at the picture and smiled. I was standing next to him at his truck. I obviously didn't know about the picture because I would be trying to look a little better.
"Kinsey said Tyla was watching out the window the second time I had ever pulled up to the house. She said the picture was just in case you were to missing, she would have a picture of me being with you" he chuckled looking down at me from the picture.
I laughed a little at how protective my sister could be. She is like me but in little form.
"I have cake!" Ryan yelled walking into the living room with a cake with one tiny candle in it. "You either blow out the candle or I will" he winked.
He moved so I could blow out the candle, "thanks dude" I giggled.
"Anytime sis" he kissed my head and then walked back out of the room to cut the cake.
Kinsey walked into the living room next and sat down on the other couch, "So I don't know if Aaron told you but he's going to be staying with us for awhile. We need as much help as possible now. With Ayden, and now that you're hurt. It's going to be complicated. So, Aaron was generous enough to give in and come stay with us. And another thing is, he is staying in your room with you because moms room is off limits due to the blood and the off limits tape the police had put up"
I took a second to digest everything that was happening, "okay"
Kinsey looked shocked at what I just said, "Okay? I thought you were going to be like no he isn't staying in my room with me"
I looked over at Aaron and he shrugged, "I feel like I've known him forever. I think I can trust him. I mean he does say he is my boyfriend"
All three of us shared a laugh at that one.
"I will always claim you" he laughed.
"I won't, you're too much work" Kinsey snorted.
I shot her a glare sending a happy vibe throughout the room.
"So where is mom?" I asked. I was worried, and I'm not going to lie. I am worried about my mom and what she could he dealing with right now.
"That's another thing. She's been forced into a rehab" Kinsey cleared her throat as if she was uncomfortable.
"That's amazing!" I cheered.
"Yeah, except it's a lot of money. Aunt Laura said she would help with the costs, but I feel bad" she sighed.
"That's better than nothing Kins. Your mom could still be out on the streets fighting with a homeless man over a card board box." Aaron pointed out.
"That's true" I agreed.
"Let's eat cake!" Ryan and Tyla yelled walking into the room handing out plates of chocolate cake.
"Thank you guys"
