Today is the day.
The day the kids are being taken away from me. The day I lose everything that I have worked for, for so long.
Getting out of bed was a struggle, and Aaron could definitely tell.
All night last night I laid there, while Aaron was on his phone.
It was maybe around like 3 in the morning before he finally put it down and I could actually go to sleep.
I slip out of bed and realise it was time that the kids need to get up and moving. I slowly walk to Kinsey's room with tears in my eyes.
I can't open the door. I can't look at it or I'm going to breakdown.
Knocking on the door softly, I know she isn't going to hear me. I just need face my tears and go in.
I open the door slowly to see Kinsey sitting in the corner of her room with Tyla curled in a ball in her lap.
Tyla must have been crying and Kinsey didn't want to bug me.
Does she think this is my fault?
"Hey"
My voice cracked again, this is a sign of weakness. I can't show weakness because it makes me feel like I have nothing left of me.
"I couldn't get her to stop. I don't know what to do" Kinsey looked up at me and I noticed her eyes are red and puffy. She had been crying, and my guess she has been crying all night.
I walk over and sit down beside her. I just needed to hold my sisters one last time.
"This isn't the end for us. You know that right? You can ask your foster parents if you can stay with me on the weekends. Everything will be alright. I promise you guys. I'm not giving up on you, not yet, not ever." I kiss Kinsey's head and she begins to let all of her final tears out.
Tyla sits up and moves closer to me. Kinsey's head lays on my left shoulder and Tyla's head lays on my lap.
"I'm so sorry" I whisper.
Only seconds later we were all in a fit of tears.

"Do you have everything?" I asked.
They each nodded, well except for Ayden he just kind of stood there with an emotionless expression.
When I got done with the girls I went to find Aaron and he wasn't there. I tried calling him too but he didn't answer.
He's probably just busy.
After the boys had gotten up I handed Kinsey the money for there clothes. She looked shocked but happy all at the same time.
But, here we sit. Silent.
Nobody will speak, nobody will move.
I hear the car pull in from outside and for a second I thought we would get lucky and it would just be Aaron. But, it wasn't.
He should be here though. I don't know what all he needs to do on a Saturday and not tell me. But it's really pissing me off. Ayden kept asking about him and I didn't even know what to tell him.
