Chapter 6 ~ Another Prophecy, Oh Yay!

Annabeth Chase

We were having our weekly counselors meeting in the Big House. Nothing big had really happened, so it wasn't really needed.

Chiron was saying something about defending the borders but no one seemed to be listening. Piper was staring at Jason (they were visiting), while Jason stared at Nico, who was looking worried and confused. Katie was tapping her fingers on the table trying to listen. The Stolls were seeing how many things they could stack on top of Clovis while he slept. Yep, a normal meeting.

And then Rachel walked in.

Her eyes were glowing green and green smoke curled around her. I mentally groaned, here we go again.

She began to speak in a raspy voice,

"Old friends must unite,
For it is time to fight.

The army of the Creator
Must come sooner rather than later.

True love comes at a cost,
One's life will be lost.

And the gods must pull together
So their rein will last forever."

And then she collapsed. Jason managed to catch her before her head hit the floor, and put her in an extra chair next to Chiron.

"Did anyone get that written down?" The centuar asked. Katie waved around a notepad that she took to all counselors meetings, in case of someting like this. We need more people like her.

Chiron nodded, "Lets examine it then." Something exciting was actually happening!

"Okay," Katie said, "The first part says, "Old friends must unite,
For it is time to fight.""

Jason got a thoughtful look, "Old friends? Maybe it means Romans?"

I nodded, "Could be, but we're already pretty united."

Chiron sighed, "Let's go to the next part. "The army of the creator must come sooner rather than later." He seemed to think about it, then got a surprised look on his face.

I racked my brain for what it might mean. Who was the creator?

Chaos.

The name popped into my mind. He was the dude who created stuff.

"Chaos." I blurted out.

All eyes turned to me.

"Present!" A playful sounding voice called out.

All eyes turned to the voice.

A man stepped out. He was wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and a shirt that said, "I ❤ the Chaos army." I would've  mistaken him for a teenager with a weird shirt if it wasn't for the power radiating off of him and his eyes.

His eyes could not seem to decide on a color, red, black, white, yellow, blue, green, each color flashed then was gone.

Chiron bowed, "Lord Chaos." The rest of us had no idea who this guy was, but we bowed anyway, just because we wanted to live and this guy was powerful.

Chaos sighed, "Enough bowing and all that! I just wanted to freak you guys out!" And then he disapeared.

I expected the creator to be more mature.

Chiron spoke, still looking confused, "I  guess it means Chaos' army, they've only helped us once before, in a war long ago."

Sometimes I had forgotten Chiron was  immortal and had lived at least as long as the gods.

"Well, next part then!" Travis Stoll said.

""True love comes at a cost, ones life will be lost."" Clarisse recited, "Well, some punk is gonna die."

Piper held onto Jason's hand, Katie looked at Travis, Chris didn't look at Clarisse, he probably knew anyone who tried to fight her would end up dead. Will looked at Nico, who still wasn't paying attention.

At that moment, Rachel woke up. She looked at us, blinking a few times, "Well, now I'm in the Big House. What happened?"

"A prophecy." Jason said. Rachel nodded, "Okay, what was it?"

Will sighed and recited,

"Old friends must unite,
For it is time to fight

The army of the creator
Must come sooner rather than later.

True love comes at a cost,
One's life will be lost.

And the gods must pull together
So their rein will last forever."

We've already figured out that the first line is probably the Romans, the second line is the Chaos army, apparently, and the third line is that someone will die. And the third one is obviously saying that the gods need to get their stuff together."

Rachel nodded, "Okay. So we have another prophecy. That's unexpected."

Chaos' voice rang out again, "Expect the unexpected."

Then another voice, sounding more in the background said, "Thou needs to stop playing around."

There was laughter in the background and the voice said, "Thee needs to stop laughing." Then there was a curse from Chaos and the voices stopped.

Being a demigod is weird.

I love Chaos in this chapter, anyone else?

Another quick thing, I do not ship Solangelo, I ship Reynico, but I am doing all canon ships, but Solangelo will barely be in here.
