Chapter 23 ~ There's always a prophecy

Charles Beckendorf/Explosion

The day after (or maybe it had been a few years, I can't tell time in this place yet) Percy came we were all sitting around and talking.

And then Katelyn did something weird.

Not Percy for once.

She randomly started glowing green. Luke, Silena, Percy, and I jumped back.

"What's happening!?"

"She's glowing."

"I wonder if she can be used as a flashlight?"

"Shut up Luke!"

And then she recited a prophecy.

Yay.

Percy Jackson/Hurricane

Apparently I'm in another prophecy.

Yay.

Anyway this is the prophecy:

The Charm, the Fire, the Hero, the Sea
Shall come together to save you and me
And break from this land
That has become weary and bland
And reunite with the ones left behind
Some we will not expect to find
The curse will be broken
With the precious words spoken

That doesn't sound like impending doom at all, woo.

Katelyn stopped glowing, there goes Luke's flashlight.

"Good luck with that prophecy." Then she walked away.

How nice of her.

Luke Castellan/Hero

"OPEN SESAME!" I yelled, causing plenty of weird looks.

"Luke." Beckendorf said, "I think you're crazy."

As I was about to explain, a bell rang.

Katelyn Walker

It's the Maze Runner again.

Luke Castellan/Hero

Anyway, the bell rang and then there was a bunch of fog or smoke or something and Octavian appeared.

"Oh." Percy said, "I thought it was someone important."

I snickered.

Beckendorf handed me a Snickers bar.

No, it's mine. You can't have it.

I opened the bar and started snacking on it as I listened.

"How did you die?" Percy asked.

"Leo shot me out of a cannon."

Silena snickered. She was rewarded with a Snickers.

Octavian glared at us.

Beckendorf was eating his own Snickers.

We can be the Snickers club.

Leo Valdez/Flame

I swear, I didn't mean to shoot Octavian out of a cannon, it was an accident.

Okay, maybe it wasn't.

Before you yell at me, hear me out!

Octavian was getting reallllly annoying so I loaded him into a cannon and we blew up him and a few monsters. Sadly, the monsters reformed. It was like the doors of death were open. Wait a minute...

Before I could think about it yoo much the Omega Division, the rest of the Beta Division  (which was only a few people) and the Leigon from Camp Jupiter dropped out of the sky.

I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT UPDATING IN FOREVER! I HAVE MOSTLY BEEN ON MY OTHER ACCOUNT, BUT I NEED TO FINISH THIS STORY. I'LL TRY TO DO THAT WHILE I'M ON BREAK THIS WEEK.
