Chapter 16 ~ Blowing up stuff and a conversation with Leo

Annabeth Chase

We were at another counselors meeting. It was all the cabin counselors (minus Poseidon, since Percy was his only child) Star, Hero, and Angel, and Reyna, Frank, and Hazel.

I had zoned out until Piper snapped her fingers in front of my face, "Annabeth?"

"Yeah?" I asked, then realized everyone was looking at me.

"As I said before, Annabeth, does the Athena Cabin have any ideas of how to defeat both Gaea and Kronos?" Chiron asked.

"Uhh." I responded, "Not yet."

Chiron nodded and was about to say something when there was a loud BOOM and the Chaos warrior, Hurricane ran in, "Guys" he panted, "We have a problem."

We all ran to the forges.

The Heaphestus Cabin was running around, trying to stop stuff from setting on fire.

The Chaos warriors were all yelling something along the lines of, "It was Festus!"

Then the responses, "We know!"

"Who else would it be?"

"The one and only Festus at your service!"

"Shut up!"

And then some Hermes camper ran in front of us his pants on fire.

"Well this brings a whole new meaning to "pants on fire" Hurricane muttered.

Then a wave of water splashed down on the forges.

Hero glanced at Hurricane, who shrugged.

I stared at the soldier. The only person I know who could control water. Well, two actually.

Percy and Posioden.

And Chaos said that his army was dead demigods. Of course he could've been lying or something and they could actually be aliens from another planet.

Could Hurricane be Percy?

I looked away. Don't think of that Annabeth. Don't get your hopes up. It's nor true.

Leo Valdez

I know what you're going to say.

"Leo why are you so awesome? I love you even though you blew up the forges at camp!"

Well, all the ladies love Leo, am I right?

Oh what's that? I'm gonna blow up more stuff than Percy at this rate? Whatttt? Not possible (*cough* Totally possible I'm gonna do it, thanks for the idea *cough*).

Leo was on fire.

I walked over to him, "Hey bro. You might wanna extinguish the flames, wouldn't want to die again. You should also stop blowing stuff up."

Leo nodded, "Yeah yeah. The readers told me that too."

Blackie randomly jumped between us, "Leo! You don't just go around talking about the readers! This is supposed to be a serious book!"

I laughed, "Serious? That's funny Blackie."

Leo nodded, "Yeah. And since when did you get here?"

Blackie sighed, "I've been undercover with my OC London White. Now, for my magical author powers, rewind!"

*REWIND*

Leo nodded, " Yeah, yeah. I know."

"So how did you explode the workshop this time?" I asked.

"Well, the Aphrodite Cabin wanted a machine to do their hair and nails and stuff automatically, sooo I tried to help. I didn't know nail polish would blow up the macine."

I was about to reply when water drenched us.

"Hurricane!" Leo yelled, now chasing him. I shrugged and followed.

Soon the whole Camp was chasing Hurricane.

Just a normal day at Camp Half-Blood.

I honestly have no idea what to say about this.

I think this book just keeps getting crazier and crazier.

Maybe it's to make you guys believe it's a fun book and that all your favorite characters won't die at the end. *evil laughter*
