Chapter 19 ~ Let's attack some random monsters!

I trudged along with Frank and the Chaos warriors, Darkness and Bear.

Let's just say it was not the best day.

Darkness and Bear obviously hated each other.

They argued about EVERY. SINGLE. THING.

Darkness suggested something, Bear argued. Bear suggested something, Darkness argued.

You'd think since they are in an army together they'd get along.

Nope.

Anyway, I should probably explain what was going on.

Apollo had randomly came into the middle of Camp Jupiter and said, "You guys go on a quest. You're gonna spy on stuff. Have fun."

It wasn't fun.

We were supposed to spy on Mount. Tam, apparently there was a large monster base there.

We had started out this morning and now we stopped for lunch.

We had stopped in a small cafè (after much arguement). Frank and Darkness decided to order, while Bear and I picked a seat.

I looked at the Chaos warrior, "So..."

How can people put up with Octavian?

Anyway, right as Frank and I sat down two hellhounds and some random dude, who was probably a demigod walked in. I thought this battle would be easy, then noticed he had three empousi (A/N: Spelling?) behind him.

The demigod dude walked over to us, "Hello demigods." He scanned us over then seemed to notice Bear and I. He cursed and pulled out some weird walkie-talkie thing. He was about t say something when Hazel grabbed it from him, "Nuh uh." She said, shaking her finger.

I slowly pulled out my sword. I prefered a bow and arrow, but this looked as if it would be a close battle. I noticed Frank tense beside me, he's probably turn into an animal or something. Octavian pulled out a knife. He had become on ok fighter while with Chaos, but he wasn't the best.

I looked at Demigod Dude, "Who are you?"

He smirked, "Thought you'd never ask!"

"Maybe she shouldn't of." Ocatvian said.

I glared at him.

Demigod Dude didn't notice, "I am Jackson King, son of Nike!" He said proudly.

"Never heard of you." Frank said from beside me.

Demigod Dude gasped as if that was the worst thing we could ever say.

"Well, now you have." He smiled, "And now I'm gonna kill you. So jist stand still..."

Of course, we didn't stand still.

I pulled out my sword, celestial bronze like most demigod weapons. Frank was now Frank the bear. He slashed with his claws and a hellhound turned to dust. Hazel took her sword and sliced monsters before they could say "Hey!"

Octavian was fighting an empousi with his knife. Guess that thing was good for someting besides murdering innocent stuffed animals.

I've been hanging around the Alpha Division too much.

I walked up to Demigod Dude. "What's up?"

"The gods." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh? Who would've guessed?" I slashed at his stomach, but he blocked.

We continued making annoying comments with each other, slashing and blocking, finally I had him pinned down. "Bye bye." I stabbed him. Sadly, he didn't turn to dust. A dead body might make the mortals question stuff.

I met up with Frank, Hazel, and Octavian.

"Let's get out of here before more monsters come." Hazel said. We all agreed.

Then we walked into the sunset, even though it was just noon.

And here's a little thing I thought of: What if Thalia didn't like to use her last name in PJO because it reminded her of her mother and how she was always drunk, and her little brother, Jason, who she thought was dead.
