Kelley's POV:

I sat there.

"Look Kelley." She sighed. "I love all my kids. Some more than others and I want nothing more than for all of them to be happy. I know Y/N was happy with you, but I want her to be happy 24/7. Not happy one day and hurting the next. I know you love her, and I respect that. There are days when I realize that I still love her father, but what he did was unforgivable. You didn't cheat on her, I know that. But you left her when she needed you the most. What happened to her was terrible, and I know that looking at Chris is painful because all it reminds you of is what happened to the woman you love. I get that Kelley."

I looked at her.

"I hear her cry sometimes in the middle of the night Kelley. She couldn't sleep after that. She needed you and all you did was blame her. I'm happy you came all the way here to tell her that you love her. But I can't have you back in her life only to end up hurting her in some way again."

I stood up. "I get it." I said. "Just." I looked at away. "Can you tell her that I'm here. That I always will be?"

She smiled. "Sure Kelley."

I walked to the door and went to the car.

"How'd it go?" Kailen asked.

"She wasn't there."

"Then what took so long?" Sam asked.

"Can you just drive please?"

Your POV:

We got back to the house. "I forgot how bad you were at driving." I said walked to the front door.

"Shut up." Ethan said locking the car.

"We're home!" I yelled. "Hey mom."

"Hi." She said. "Y/N can I speak with you?"

I looked at Ethan. "Can you go see what the kids are up to?"

"Sure." He went upstairs.

I sat next to my mom. "What's up?"

"If Kelley asked for another chance, would you give her one?"

I shrugged. "I don't know, maybe." I said. "I know you basically hate her now but I love her mom."

"I don't hate her. She has a good heart and she loves you. That girl is just an idiot." I nodded. "Just if she ever asked, think about it before you jump right into another relationship with O'Hara. I can't stand to see you hurt again."

"I will."

Kelley's POV:

"What IS it gonna take though Kelley?" Sam asked. "For real. You've put that poor girl through SO much, but she always came back. When will you learn?"

"I learned already. She's not coming back this time, Sam." I said. "She's gone. I lost her for good. I'm not good for her. Her mom is right, all I do is hurt her. Even when I try not to, I always end up doing it in some way." I said. "I just need to accept that Y/N is gone and I'll get a chance again."

Kailen walked over. "Here." She gave me her phone. "Y/N's contact is up."

"Aw is that a heart next to her name."

"Shut up Sam."

"Call her."

"Why can't I just call her from my phone?"

"She's probably home now and her mom talked to her."

I took the phone. "Good point."

Your POV:

I sat with my mom on the couch. My phone started ringing.

"Who is it?"

I looked at my phone.

Sexy Canadian

"It's Kailen." I sighed. "Hello?"

"Hi."

"Hey K-" I looked at my mom. "Kailen. Hold on a minute." I got up. "I'll be outside." I went to the porch. "Kelley. Why did you call me?"

"To tell you that I still love you. I flew to Orlando. I wanted to tell you in person but you weren't there. Then I came here, went to your house. You weren't there. I talked to your mom. I don't know what she told you, but I know all I've done is hurt you. I hate myself because of it." She said. "Your mom said that you need to be happy 24/7. I didn't do that. I tried but I am an idiot and never said, or did the right things. I've lost you so many times, Y/N. I can't lose you forever."

"You didn't lose me, Kel." I said. "I'm here."

Kelley's POV:

"I need to see you. Before we go back to Jersey." I said. Sam watched me.

"I'll text you when and where." She said. "And Kelley?"

"Yeah."

"I love you too." I smiled. "Bye." She hung up.

"Well?" Rocky looked at me.

"She's gonna text me when and a place to meet." I looked at Sam. "She said she loves me."

"Don't hurt her, O'Hara." Sam stood up. "Or I'll kick your ass."
