When we're together: A raura/R5 story

Chapter 4 :)

Laura's POV

I was sitting on my chair, in my room, on the piano, writing a new song, this is all i got so far:

na, na,na yah, 

you are the music in me

you know the words once apon a time,

makes you listen,

there's a reason.

When you dream, there's a chance you'll find,

a little laughter, or happy ever after..

    I want to make it a duet sort of, but that's the girl part, it's called, You Are The Music in Me, 

oh! i am getting a perfect melody!! I got to go!!

Rydel's POV

I was bored, and band practice isn't for another 3 hours, so i decided to text Laura, but she said she was working on a song called, you are the music in me. Wait, isn't that the name of the song Ross was making?? I ran downstairs to ask Ross about his song. 

"Hey, Ross wasn't the name of your song you are the music in me??" 

"Yah, why??"

"Well i just texted Laura and she said she was busy making a song called you are the music in me.." Oh no, what is up with Ross??

Ross's POV

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! WOAH HOW ARE WE WRITING THE SAME SONGS??????!!!!!!!!!!! OK OK MAYBE WE HAVE DIFFERENT LYRICS, ALL I HAVE TO DO IS GO TO HER HOUSE AND SOMEHOW SNEAK THE PAPER INTO MY POCKET AND COME BACK HOME, WAIT NO I CANT DO THAT, OK ILL JUST MAKE A DISTRACTION SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO LEAVE THE ROOM, THEN I WILL SEE IF THE LYRICS ARE THE SAME, AND THE MELODY, CAUSE THIS SONG IS MEANT FOR-

"ROSS!!" Rydel yells in my ear. "Ow" I say, she apoligices. " Hey, i'm uh, going out for awhile i'll be back in a hour." "Ok" Rydel says while i walk out the door.

I decided to walk to Laura's how, her house is only 6 minutes away. There is a 98% chance of rain this afternoon but i'll be back before the rain starts. 

Later I arrive at Laura's house. I ring the small, black, doorbell on the right side of her front door. Vanessa opens the door and points to right up the stairs. Wow, do i really come to Laura's house this mutch? :)  I ran up the stairs to Laura's room. I'm about to knock on the door when i hear her singing.

It's like I knew you before we met 

Can't explain it, there's no name

for it.....

Ok, well at least it's not the same lyrics but it's the same melody. I knock on the door very lightly. Laura yells come in, as i open the door and walk into her room she turns around and looks at me. With that smile too, i'm melting.

"Hey Laura"

"Hey what's up" "Oh nothing, by the way your sister wants to see you for a minute." "Oh, ok i'll be back" "ok"

Laura walks out of the room. I gently close her door and quickly walk to the piano. I sit down on the bench and take out my sheet of paper with the lyrics. I stare at both of the papers for a moment. They have the same music notes but different lyrics. I start to play on the piano and collide some of the lyrics

Your harmony! To the melody!! That's ecoing inside my head a

single voice! Above the noice! And like a common thread

mmm your pulling me-

Than i hear the crack of the door opening, i turn around to see Laura. Her face was confused and angry at the same time, but she still looked beautiful.

Laura's POV

Ross lied. Vanessa didn't need to see me. I am going to yell all of my anger out on him. But, right when i open the door i hear Ross singing..... my song..... wait no those are the wrong lyrics...

When i hear my favorite song, i know that we belong

Ross: Oh youuu are the music in me

yahhh it's living in all of us

Laura: and it's brought us here becausee (Ross: because)

you are the music in me!

THAT WAS IT i know it was short im sorry. Originally it was going to be longer then this but i ran out of ideas for this chapter. Trust me the next chapter will be better

I do not own the song You Are The Music In Me  The song is from High School Musical 2 

i love that song soo mutch and i came up with the idea of putting this song in the story
