Chapter 6- Goodnight

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who is reading my story. Almost 100 reads! Ahhh! Tbh I was expecting no one to read it at all and I would just have a fanfic that was secretly out there without anyone on watt pad knowing. Well blah blah blah, thank you and let's get on with the story, shall we?

*SHAWN'S POV*

I ran over and gave a Alyssa a gigantic hug. I didn't know what came over me. I just wanted to hold her, if that sounds weird. I don't know but it just felt right being with her.

While in the hug, I lost all contact with my sanity. My emotions were now my controller, to say the least. I didn't have a conscience at the time because I was in such a deep endless trance by Alyssa. No conscience equals no thinking, just doing. I went in for a kiss. All I could feel was my nerves being almost electrified and was sending shock waves through me. I didn't have to time to be nervous about what was about to unfold in a matter of seconds. The last thing I saw before I closed my eyes was the big pupils of her blue-green dilate. When that happens that means that they are in love. Did she feel the same way about me as I felt about her?

By now both our eyes were closed and the tips of our noses were nearly touching. 3..... "This is it!" I thought to myslef. 2..... "Could this be the start of me and Alyssa?". 1....

Just as my lips were about to connect with hers, I heard a noise. My body froze but my eyes shot open. It was almost like the sound of a door.

"Guys I just have to get my..." Said Cam loudly with his head turned toward the common room from which he came. He stopped talking when he swiveled head around to see me and a Alyssa standing there. "Zayuummmmm!" He said with a teeth-full grin that spread across his face from ear to ear.

I was still frozen in shock. "DAMNIT CAM!" I thought to myself. I wanted to go over to him and punch him. REALLY REALLY hard. He ruined it, he ruined my moment with Alyssa. I know he didn't know, but still, I was gonna kill him.

"Cam..." I started to say.

"I am so sorry." He said laughing, holding up hands. Alyssa and I couldn't help but laugh. Cam seriously has the worst timing. "You guys are really cute together!" When he said that, my vision went straight to Alyssa. She was really red and was obviously trying to keep back a smile. It didn't work. She smiled and looked down at the floor and then up at me. That smile can kill me.

Cam opened up the door to the common room. "Guys! Aren't Shawn and Alyssa cute!" He said. "There like little puppies" A roar of laughter came from everyone in the room.

"Your and idiot Cam! Leave them alone!" I heard Carter say from the other room. I could see him but I silently thanked him.

"Whatever! You two kids have fun!" Cam said. He obeyed carter and walked back into the common room and shut the door.

"I am so sorry!" I said in defeat.

"Hahaha it's ok! That was really funny. I..."

We heard a knock on the door. "Please kill me" I thought to myself. Both out heads turned to the door. "Come in" answered Alyssa.

In peeps Hunters head. She smiled and waved hello to me and then turned to Alyssa. "We need to get back." She said.

"Oh okay. What time is it?" We both looked over to the hotel digital clock. 11:00.

"Holy shit!" said Alyssa. "Yea lets go because I won't be able to get up in the morning."

I didn't want her to leave. I know that's sounds needy, but it's the truth. I've been with her for hours and I want to be with her for 20 more hours.

"It was nice talking... and stuff" she said. I had to laugh. She was so cute.

What I wanted to say was "don't go, stay with me!" But what came out was, "I'll see you tomorrow." It killed me but, in reality, I did only just meet her today.

"Bye Shawn!" Hunter gave me a hug.

"Bye!" I answered. She turned and walked out of the room and went into the hallway. It was just me and Alyssa. She stared at me and tucked a stray blonde hair behind her ear.

"Well I've got to go! Good night Shawn!" She said pulling me into her warm hug. I wanted stay there and protect her. I wanted her to be mine. She let go of me,

unfortunately. She turn and walked our if the room.

There she goes. At least I get to see her tomorrow, but as of tonight, I know I won't get any sleep tonight. My mind will, no, is all jumbled up with thoughts of Alyssa. "Hopefully, she won't be able to sleep tonight either...hopefully because of me!" I thought to myself.

After a few moments of silence, I heard footsteps out in the hall. I didn't think anything of it. Oddly enough, I heard a knock on the door. I got up unwilling from the bed. I unlocked the door and was surprised to see Alyssa.

Before I could say anything, she pulled my face to hers. Our lips connected. I know it's cliché but sparks did fly. I swear time went into slow motion. I wondered if she was going deepen the kiss. I didn't mind either way, I was with Alyssa, KISSING HER! As quick as the kiss came it was gone. It was just a peck on the lips.

After she pulled away, she looked at me at frowned. "Did I do something wrong?" I thought to myself.

"I'm so sorry! I just..." She started to say. I couldn't control myself. She gave me a little taste of what I could have if she was mine. I cupped my hands around her face and pulled her in. I cut her off from what she was saying. We kissed for a good minute. It's almost as if my body had control over me, and not the other way around. We were standing in the middle of the hall, but I didn't care. No one was going to bother us, the way it should be.

She pulled away. "Goodnight Shawn!" She whispered quietly. She turned and walked away.

"Goodnight, Alyssa!"

I walked into my room and closed the door. I leaned against the closed door. I was in a trance. I was delusional. I fell into the bed. I couldn't stop smiling.

"What a perfect way to end the day!" I thought to myself.

Then, I past out.
