**SHAWN'S POV**

I watched Jack walk in with his new friend Hunter. She is the only thing he has been worried about since the meet and greet a few hours ago. I'm glad she makes him happy. Jack walked

in first and held the door for Hunter. I couldn't wait to see that girl Alyssa walk in behind her. But the only thing was, she didn't. She wasn't with them. My heart sunk.

"Hi Shawn! I'm Hunter! You probably don't remember me from the meet and greet. Nice to meet you." She gave me a hug.

"I remember you, don't worry!" I laughed as the white lie escaped my lips. "Where's Alyssa?"

"Oh she's not feeling well. She said she might come up later if she is feeling up for it.

We all got to talking for a few minutes. I zoned out. I was really excited to be with Alyssa. "Alyssa, that's a beautiful name..." I thought to myself

"Shawn!? Did you hear what I said?" Asked Matt, snapping me back into reality.

"Oh, uh what? Sorry!" I said. The words got all jumbled coming out of my mouth. Word fart, that's what I call it. It's when nothing you say comes out right. It's like have having a brain fart, but while talking.

"I said, I'm going to the snack bar downstairs. Do you want anything?" He asked again impatiently.

"Oh no thanks. I'm good. Thank you anyway." I said without messing up.

Everyone liked Hunter. She was cool, polite, and pretty. I thought so too, but my mind kept wandering off to Alyssa. Her blonde wavy hair was stunning. Just thinking of her smile made my heart flutter. Amazing. She was so beautiful. I couldn't back from a smile that spread across my face. I looked down at the floor. Her laugh, oh her laugh, just makes me happy. I got all warm and tingly when I first saw her at the meet and greet.

I need to see her.

I got up from the love seat and went to the bathroom. I shut the door tight and locked it. I knew everyone stared at me, but I don't care. I started to get ready. I ran my finger through my hair and formed a quiff. I brushed my teeth and used some mouthwash. It was all or nothing.

"I'm going out" I said and walked out. Everyone just looked at me and each other in confusion.

As soon as the door closed, I started running. I don't even know why, I didn't even get tired. I just had this need to run. I sprinted to the elevator, pushed the down button, and jogged in place. What is going on with my legs right now? After waiting 10 seconds I realized, the elevator was taking way too long.

"Forget it!" I said to myself while taking off to the end of the hall to the stairs. I nearly broke my neck flying down the stairs. When I got to the lobby, I almost ran into the concierge at the front desk. She was so startled, I felt bad.

"What" pant "Room does.." pant "Alyssa" pant "stay in?". The woman must've thought I was insane.

"I'm sorry... Alyssa.... Who?" She answered all confused.

"Shit! I didn't know her last name." I thought to myself. "I'm sorry, never mind." I said as I walked away. I quickly pulled out my phone and shot Jack a quick text asking to him to ask Hunter what room they were in, without seeming suspicious. Him and the boys already know I kind of have a thing for this beautiful girl.

Around 2 minutes later, Jack answered.

Jack G: She said 219

Ok. She's just upstairs. I'm gonna go and talk to her. I got nervous just saying that last part to myself. I started on my adventure to Alyssa's room. I thought of what I should say when she opened the door.
