**ALYSSA'S POV**
"Jesus" I said as I tried to get my eyes to adjust to the bright phone screen. I was still in a daze. "Who could be texting me this early in the morning?" I thought to myself. The number that was on the screen was one that I didn't recognize. The chain of numbers didn't have the area code from anyone in my town. Stupidly, I decided to see what it said.
6382295026: Hey it's Jack G. I need to talk to u ASAP. Meet me in the lobby in 15 minutes. Oh nd if ur wondering how I got ur number, Hunter gave it to me.
"What?!" I said a little loudly. When I exclaimed, Hunter groaned and rolled over to her side on her bed across from me. I decided to save Jacks number just in case he texts me again. I quickly typed up a reply.
Alyssa: Ok. I'll b down in a few.
I quietly got up from the bed. I tiptoed over to my luggage bag. I didn't bother to turn on the lamp. I didn't want to wake Hunter. As I blindly fumbled around with my stuff, I realized I packed way too much, which I guess turned out to my advantage, considering the fact we were staying here for another week. I grabbed a sweatshirt to go over my tank top. I was wearing sweatpants already. My hair was still in the messy bun from when Shawn came. I really should look presentable, but it's almost 6 o'clock in the morning. If he is expecting some effort he should rethink that. I flashed back to when Shawn said I was beautiful, even in my sweats. My body warmed to the thought of him. I slipped on my flip flops and placed my big glasses to the bridge of my nose. I wasn't going to even try to get my contacts in, in the dark at least. I grabbed the room key and my phone and slipped out of the room, without letting the door slam.
I groggily walked down the hall to the elevator. When I pressed the button, the ding that followed startled me. The door eventually opened. Lucky for me, no one was in it. I stepped in and leaned my body weight against the handrail that went all the way around the elevator. I closed my eyes. I could barely stay awake, let alone stay up on my feet.
When the door opened, there stood a young woman who looked like she just came back from a run. I let her slide past me into the elevator before stepping out. I was finally in the lobby. I walked to the front of the lobby to sit in the big, black, leather chairs. As I sat, I kept my head on a swivel, trying to keep an eye out for Jack, who was nowhere to be found. I decided just to rest a little bit. I closed my eyes and slowly, I felt myself slip under.
I woke up to a hand tapping me on the shoulder. I have always had this thing where I wake up really fast and never know what's going on. Before I could see who the hand belonged to, I kicked as hard as I could. I didn't mean to, it was just a reflex.
"Ow! What the hell?" I heard the familiar voice say. I looked up to see who it was. The voice matched the face.
"Jack! I am so sorry. I didn't mean to." I said holding my hand to my face.
"It's ok. Jack does that. He wakes up like a karate master. But you, well you kick like a horse. That hurt like a bitch!" He said laughing away the pain I just caused him.
"Hahaha well I am truly sorry."I said with complete honesty. "Anyway, why am I up right now?" I asked him, while getting up from the chair.
"Well, I need your opinion on something." He finished.
"And it had to be 6 o'clock in the morning because..." I said. I didn't mean to sound like a bitch, but I was tired and cranky. Cut me some slack.
"Because I didn't want Hunter to hear this." He said. Me being my idiotic self, I was thinking, "OHHHH SHITTT!"
"I was going to ask her out later today, but then I thought about asking you what you felt about it and how she would react." He blurted out.
"Oh my god! That's great! She going to be so happy! She really likes you, you know? Like more than you can even imagine!" I decided to leave out the part about her fangirling about him. She probably would end my life if I told him.
"So she'll yes!?" He asked in happiness.
"Yes! 1000% she'll say yes!" I jumped up and gave him a hug. I hooked my arms around his broad shoulders. When we hugged, I heard a faint click noise. I didn't think much of it. After we let go of each other I heard feet hitting the floor. It sounded like it was getting farther and farther away. Whatever.
"When are you going to ask her?" I questioned him.
"Tonight, after Magcon. I need your help. I need you to get the boys to leave the room so it's just me and her." He said with plead in his eyes.
"For sure man." I said mocking his famous line. Hunter uses it all the time. I stuck out my hand in agreement. We shook and said are goodbyes.
I went back to our room and slid the key into the slot. The little light turned green signaling it was open. Hunter was still in bed, sound asleep. Little did she know of today's plans. I kicked of my flip flops and went straight back for bed. I looked at the clock. 6:13. I layed in bed and soon after I, too, was sound asleep.
(A/N)
Hey ik this chapter is short but I thought that if I put it in the next one it would be way too long. Anyway, I'm coming back from a soccer game and my parents are playing there old people music and their singing along and my mom is like clapping and stuff so yeah I'm going to kill myself. I'm sitting in the back seat trying to write this.
QUESTION OF THE DAY: What's your favorite Jack and Jack song?
Anyway!! I'm probably gonna update soon and I promise a longer chapter. And one more thing... Whose POV do u like best? Hunter? Alyssa? Shawn? I might start to write from Jacks POV but idk yet.
