Excitement to Sleep

**HUNTER'S POV**

I look back behind me. Just a second ago Alyssa nod I were walking back to our room. I was on the middle of telling her what the boys and I talked about in their room. Next hing I know, Alyssa's gone. "Should I go look for her?" I thought to myself. But then a crazy idea hit me. "She probably... No way that's not like her... But she obviously likes him." A boat load of thoughts of Alyssa and Shawn rushed into my head. "They would be so cute together!" I thought.

I decided to keep walking to our room. She would have to get there eventually. As I walked, I couldn't help but think of Jack. He and I are perfect for each other. He likes me, I like him, everything is going perfect. I told all my fan girl friends and they were freaking out. I had asked them to not to post anything because I didn't want the magcult to hate me.

I unlocked to the door and walked inside. As soon as I was close enough, I belly flopped onto the bed. I turned on the light, and put my phone on the charger. Then, I changed into my T-shirt and shorts for and decided to lay down to watch some TV.

**ALYSSA'S POV**

"Goodnight Alyssa!" I heard Shawn say. My back was turned toward him. He couldn't see it, but I was blushing like crazy. I was as red as a stop sign. I couldn't hold back my smile. I walked away. As soon as I heard Shawn's door shut, I took off. Nothing could stop me, I felt like I won an award or something. I felt on top of the world! Seconds after, I realized that Hunter was gone. "Whatever, she probably went back to our room." I thought to myself.

I replayed today's events in my head as I ran. I started to laugh out loud. And when I mean loud, I mean loud. A woman stepped out of her hotel room in a robe and a towel on her head and yelled at me to be quiet. I didn't care. I kept running. I thought that the stairs would just be easier and quicker then elevator, so I headed straight for the stairwell at the end of the hall. I finally got to our room. I banged on the door with my fist. I was really loud considering the fact I was only one in the hallway, but I didn't care.

"Open up!" I yelled, "It's me!"

Hunter unlocked the door and opened it wide. She gave me her famous I know what you did look. I walked inside and smiled. I kicked off my Uggs and fell back onto the warm and comfy, but tacky bedspread.

"Ahhhhh" I said, snuggling into a pillow. My eyes were closed and my smile still never came off my face.

"So..." She said, "You and Shawn hmm". She smiled at me and nudged my arm.

I opened my eyes and laughed. "Hunter, I apologize." I said as I rolled over to my other side to face her. "To be completely honest, I thought this trip was going to be a nightmare. But now..." GOD! I hate being wrong! "I take it all back. Thank you." I said.

"Yes yea yea. Whatever! So Shawn and you ! Tell me more!" She exclaimed.

I laughed and put my head back on the pillow so I could stare at the ceiling. I took a deep, full inhale and exhale and told her everything. I told her about when Shawn came to our room and how we sang together and it he made me feel. I told her about me and Shawn almost kissing until Cameron walked on. When I told her that part, she died of laughter. I then proceeded to tell her about the peck I gave him and the kiss we shared.

"Why'd you do it?" She asked in astonishment.

"I really really really don't know. " we both started to giggle.

"Anyway! Enough about my day, what about you!" I exclaimed. "I can't believe the one boy you obsess over 24/7 got the hots for you. You, my friend, are one lucky, lucky girl!"

"I know, I know, what can I say." She said pretending to dust off her shoulders. She told me her whole day with Jack. Even though she was with all the boys the whole time, she and Jack obviously only had time to listen to each other. She told me that the boys act exactly as they do in all their videos.

"They're all adorable idiots!" She said smiling.

By now, we were both in our separate beds, looking up at the black ceiling above us. These are my favorite times with my friends, when the little talks would get really deep and our true feelings escaped us. We talked for another 2 hours. We finally called it a night at about 1:30 in the morning.

"Tomorrow is going to be great." I thought to myself as I tried to fall asleep . Hunter was kicking her sheets and was being a very violent and loud sleeper. Eventually I slipped into slumber.

**DREAM**

"I could do this forever" Shawn said to me with his guitar in his hands. I sat across from him with my guitar in my own hands Around us, a beautiful green hill covered the land. We sat on a red and white checkered picnic blanket. The sky was crystal clear and the birds were singing. No one else was there, just me and Shawn.

"I could just lay here and play all day." He said looking up at the sky with his brown eyes vividly reflecting the sunlight.

"I wish we could." I blurted out. He looked at me longingly and smiled. "I know what you mean, this place is so peaceful." I continued.

"What song do you want to play?" Shawn asked me. I knew the perfect song.

"How about Everything Has Changed" I spoke. In reality, I didn't know one chord of that song but in the dream, I knew every rhythm, strum, and pluck. Just like today when me and Shawn sang together, he took the low octave while I took the higher one. When it came to lyrics when it was just Ed Sheeran, Shawn sang and I kept playing. When it came to the parts where it was just Taylor, I took over.

Towards the end of the song, a strange buzz came from Shawn's mouth. It eventually became his voice-a buzz. He would open his mouth and a low pitch of vibration would come out and nothing more.

The dream's beautiful picture shattered in my mind like a glass window would after a baseball came soaring through it.

**DREAM OVER**

I shot straight up in my bed. It was my phone. It was the source of the buzzing. I grabbed it and saw that I had received a message. I quickly glanced over at the quick on the nightstand. It was only 5:45 in the morning. "What the fuck?" I thought to myself.

Hi guys sorry bout the short update. I had state tests this week so yeah. And sorry bout it being a whole week with only one update, I was kinda having a hard time trying to figure how to start the chapter but eventually I go it.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: Who got Magcon NJ tickets? I didn't but my friend and I tried. I wasn't even that upset I kinds didn't think we were getting them anyway.

Ok well I'm gonna go and sleep now cuz it's like 3:00 in the morning and I have school tomorrow
