Chapter 14- Sleepless Nights

**ALYSSA'S POV**

The hotel door slam closed. "Dude! Why didn't you tell me you guys kissed!" Hunter yelled at me as I kicked off my shoes. We finally got back from Six Flags. All of us decided to leave after Nash's cast dried. I didn't mind, I was beat anyway.

I walked over and dove onto the comforter. It was so soft. I zoned out of Hunter and closed my eyes.

Next thing I know, I feel a shear pain shoot up through my back. Hunter slapped my back. "Dude seriously! Oh my God! This is so exciting! You and Shawn are going to get married and me and Jack are going to get married, and I can be your maid of honor and you can be my maid of honor..." She kept rambling on in excitement. I just laughed and layed my head back down. Today was a good day.

I hopped into the bathroom for a quick shower. I sang in the shower, as I normally do. Thoughts of me and Shawn swam into my head. One of them was that we were driving across the country. And every night we would sleep in the back of his truck under the stars. That was it. Just road tripping with this boy I love so much.

"Wait!" I think to myself. "Did I just say love?" I shook that thought out of my head. That was such a stupid idea. I met the kid 3 days ago! Eventually, warm water went cold on me so I stepped out. I wrapped the towel around my body and tucked it in, to form a towel-dress. I walked out of the bathroom.

I see Hunter flipping the channels on the TV. Then the next thing I see in the room was Shawn! "What is he doing here?" I ask myself.

"Oh, um, hey!" I stammer. I gripped the towel, just to be save.

"Hey!" He laughed. That laugh made my heart skip a beat. "I wanted to say goodnight, you know, in person." He rubbed the back of his neck.

He is so sweet! I wanted to run over and hug him, but obviously I couldn't. "Oh that's so nice! I would give you a hug right now but..." I said looking down at the white towel.

He laughed. "Shawn you have worst timing!" Hunter said still flipping through channels.

"I know! I know! Well anyway, goodnight babe." My heart stopped. My body fell to about -10 degrees. "What did he just say?" I think to myself.

"I-, um, ugh," Word fart. I couldn't get my thoughts together. I just couldn't wrap my head around what he just called me. "Goodnight!" I threw out. I exhaled. Just talking to this boy makes my body go numb and my mind stop working.

He said his goodbyes to Hunter and walked out. I turn and face Hunter. "Holy shit!" I whisper to her. She got up and nodded her head, she knew exactly what I was thinking. She and I started screaming and jumping up and down. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a noise complaint.

"Did you head that?" I yelled to her.

She jumped up and started hopping in the bed. Babe. Oh my God. "This is the greatest thing that ever happened to us!" She said.

After the 2 of us screamed for a few more minutes, I sunk into bed. I slipped between the sheets. Hunter stayed up in her bed on twitter. I decided to sleep. I turn over on my side, facing the dark side of the room. I closed my eyes and drifted off.

Bzzzz. I woke up to blackness. "What the fuck?" I mumble to myself. I turn over to my other side to see Hunter dead asleep with all the lights and TV off. The brightness of the clock blinded me. I squinted and saw what time it was. 3:00 am. I shove my hand onto the nightstand. I didn't bother to turn on the lamp, so I just felt for my phone. I finally had it in my grasp and I turned it on. Luckily, my brightness was on the lowest it could be. I stared at my screen, waiting for my eyes to adjust. When they did, I looked at my lock screen.

Shawn: Hey I know ur probably sleeping, but I can't sleep because your on my mind. I'm probably creeping you out rn (sorry) but I wanted to know of you would like to hangout tomorrow...

Just you and me.

I read the paragraph over and over and over again. Is this even real life anymore? I decided no to answer, even though it was obviously yes, I wanted to sleep... BADLY.

I smiled and turned back over and fell asleep as easily as I did he first time. I had dreams of me and Shawn living happily ever after. What could go wrong?

Hey guys sorry bout the short chapter. I'm really tired and I was bored and it's like 2 in the morning so whatever.

Today I went to the mall and I saw heart sunglasses like Shawn's and I couldn't get them cuz I spent a my money and I was rele upset.

Anyway, I know I promised the hayes one to be up by May but I had State tests again so I didn't rele have time to so ill let u know when it's up. Remember it's called "My Blued Eyed Secret"
