Chapter 5: A Roar to Remember

  "It feels great to be a Luxray again" Luxie said as she layed down on BJ's lap.
"Yeah. It's good to have you back to your old self, girl" he said as he petted her.
Just then, Radi and Mkali joined them.
"Ah. This is the life" Radi said.
"You said it, dad" Mkail replied.
"Look like I have a nice little Luxray family here" BJ said.
All the fangirls walked in and thought it was cute.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I didn't know you had another Luxray and a Luxio" Mikki said.
"Yeah. Luxie met Radi one day, they had Mkali and she's due for another cub soon" BJ replied.
"Cool. When's the due date" she asked.
"I have no idea. But I do know that it's gonna be a girl" BJ answered.
Luxie let out a mighty roar that caused the clouds in the sky to turn into lion heads.
"Whoa. What just happened" Mika asked.
"I think Luxie acquired the roar of the elders" Radi answered.
"Wow and how can you understand me" Mika replied.
"Much like Luxie, I can also speak english and so can Mkali" Radi said.
"Oh okay" Mika said.
"I got an idea" BJ said as an idea came into his head.
"What is it" Mikki asked.
"Let's form a team to keep peace throughout the world" BJ answered.
"I'm down with that" Mika said.
"What's it gonna be called" Luxie asked.
"It'll be called The Epic Guard and you my shocking friend will be the leader" BJ answered.
"Sweet. The roar shall do some good for me" Luxie replied.
"Yep. We just need to find 4 other members" BJ said.
"What are the roles of the other members" Rosy asked.
"The fastest, strongest, bravest and keenest of sight" BJ answered.
"I've got the speed covered" Kenzie said.
"I'm pretty strong when it comes to tickling as punishment" Alex added.
"And I guess I'll be the bravest" BJ said.
"That would make me the fiercest" Luxie added.
"Hold on. You forgot the keenest of sight" Kayli said.
"No he didn't. I'll be it. These glasses are not just for decoration ya know" Ashley replied.
"Alright. We got us a team" BJ said.
"Yep" Luxie replied.
Like magic, the Epic Guard symbol appeared on their shoulders.
"Aw yeah baby. This makes us a team" Alex said as she noticed the symbol on her shoulder.
"Sure does" BJ replied.
Just then, a video call from the Russian president's daughter, Kalinka came through.
"What's up" BJ asked.
"I need you and the Epic Guard to get over here and sniff out bombs. Plus my father was robbed" Kalinka answered.
"Understood. We'll be there" BJ replied.
"Radi, take Mkali upstairs" Luxie said.
"Awww Mom, can't I come" he asked.
"No. It's too dangerous" Luxie answered.
"Hey don't worry son, you'll be ready once you evolve" Radi said as he took his son upstairs.
"Whatever. I just hope they'll be alright" Mkali replied.
Meanwhile, the Epic Guard members all got into BJ's new souped up DeLorean and made their way over to Russia.
"Okay. Remind me why you sold the Carwing again" Alex said as she got in.
"Because I wanted to change it up" BJ replied.
"Oh. That makes sense" Alex said.
Upon their arrival to Russia, Kalinka and her father greeted them.
"Welcome to Russia" he said.
"Thanks for the welcome, Mr. President" BJ replied.
"Anytime. But now on to the news. The thief's hideout is that alley. Find and punish him" Kalinka said.
"I got this" Alex said as she charged in.
"Hey! Wait for us. I'm the keenest of sight" Ashley said as she and the others ran after them.
Once they got into the hideout, Luxie sniffed out the thief.
"I think I got him" she said as she dragged him out with her teeth.
"You have strong grip for electric lion" he said.
"Shut it" Luxie replied.
After Alex gave him a tickle punishment, they went to go sniff out bombs.
"Smell anything, girl" BJ asked.
"Oh yeah. There are lots of bombs to defuse underground" Luxie answered.
BJ went underground and defused all the bombs like it was nothing.
"That was easy enough" he said as he came back up.
"Sure it was" Ashley replied.
"Hey. Lay off, Ash. It's actually a bit of a challenge" BJ said as they got back into the car.
"I'm just sayin' that defusing bombs isn't easy" she said.
Just then, Luxie let out the Roar of the Elders.
"Glad I got that victory roar out of my system" she said as BJ put his DeLorean on turbospeed.
In just five minutes, they were home safe and all of BJ's fangirls were happy to see him again.
"We missed you so much" Rosy said.
"I'm glad to be home after that mission" BJ replied.
"Yeah. It feels great to be back with Radi and Mkali" Luxie said.
"You said it, mom" Mkali replied
