Chapter 21: A Haven Tales Christmas

  As the final bell of the year rang for Christmas break, things seemed to be going great at Grand Haven High.
"Alrighty class. That's the bell. See you all in January" Mr. Galmish said as the bell rang.
On the walk home, Mika and McKenna decided to race each other.
"Slow down will ya" she said as she tried to keep up with Mika.
"Sorry. I'm just naturally fast" Mika replied.
"Then why don't you take up track" McKenna asked.
"Because high school is stressful enough" Mika answered.
"Fair point" McKenna replied.
Once they got back to the mansion, they started on their homework while BJ and Mikki played some Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.
"Dang it! This game is super brutal" BJ said as he died.
"You knew the risks when you signed up for it" Mikki replied.
"I know but this is the beginner stage" BJ said as he finally cleared stage 33.
The next morning, Fred, BJ, Mikki and Wanda went out to get a Christmas tree for the mansion.
"C'mon kids. Sing with us" Fred said as he and Wanda sang Jingle Bells.
"I don't think so, dad. We're not in the mood" Mikki replied.
Once they got to the woods, they walked through looking for the perfect tree.
"I'm freezing, dad" Mikki said as they continued walking
"It's okay sweetie. We're almost there" Fred replied.
"Ummmmm.... Mr. Rodgers, Mikki is frozen from the waist down" BJ said as he helped his wife out.
After a while of walking, they finally found the perfect tree.
"Isn't it a bit big, dear" Wanda asked.
"It's not too big. It's just really full" Fred answered.
"Yeah. Where's the saw" BJ asked.
"Right here" Fred answered as he got it out of the car.
After getting it home and trimming it so it could fit in the living room, everything was coming together.
"It really is a great tree" Mikki said.
"How come you never said anything about it before" BJ asked.
"Because my eyes were frozen" Mikki answered.
"Okay. Let's get to decorating" Ashley said as she came into the living room with a box of Christmas decorations.
Many hours later, Mikki decided to help her dad with decorating the mansion by checking every bulb on every strand of lights.
"They're all good, dad" she said as she handed a strand to Fred.
"That's great honey" he said.
After a few days, it was Christmas Eve.
"Great. It's the day before Christmas" Mika said as she made plans for the Christmas slumber party.
"Why are we having a slumber party when everyone lives here" BJ asked.
"Hey. Not everyone lives here. Need I remind you that Jenna and Ayanna are coming here" Mika replied.
"Oh right" BJ said as he helped her set up some snacks.
Once everything was all set, Jenna and Ayanna arrived with Olivia.
"Hi guys. We're here" they said.
"Great. Come on in" Mikki replied.
After a few minutes of conversation, Mika gets a table set up.
"What's that for" Olivia asked.
"It's for you to lay down on" Jenna answered.
"For some reason, I know this is a trick" Olivia replied.
"It's not. Trust me" Ayanna replied.
Once she layed down on the table, Mika tied her arms and legs down to the table.
"Huh? What are you doing" Olivia asked as Mikki pulled up her shirt.
"Oh it's nothing" Mikki answered.
Just then, BJ started tickling her armpits.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. THAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHT TICKLES" she said as she laughed.
"Well we kinda wanted to tickle you, Olivia" BJ replied.
Some tickling later, they decided to play some Marvel VS Capcom 2 and Ashley won more than anyone.
"That's how you win" she said.
After a long night, it was Christmas Day.
"Hooray. It's Christmas" BJ said as he turned on the TV to watch the Disney Parks Christmas Parade.
"Aren't you a bit too old for Disney" Mika asked.
"You're never too old for Disney" BJ answered.
"That's right" Jenna replied.
Later on, they opened presents and just had a wonderful Christmas.
