Chapter 38: School

  "Mikki! BJ! It's time to get up" Wanda said as she knocked on the door to Mikki's bedroom. Little did she know that they were already up and laying out their outfits for the day.
"Ugh. I hate waking up early" BJ said.
"Same here" Mikki replied.
After eating breakfast and showering, they got dressed and got their backpacks on before putting them in the backseat of BJ's car.
"Don't forget your lunches" Fred said as he came out to give Mikki and BJ their lunches.
"Thanks, pop" Mikki said
"Anytime. Have a good day at school" Fred replied.
Meanwhile, Lena decided not to go to school.
"LENA ELIZABETH ROLLINS! You're going to school and you're gonna like it" her mother said.
"Why should I? Third grade was stressful enough. Plus I'll have to deal with a bully" Lena said as she explained everything.
"I don't care with you may have to deal with. You have to go to school" her mother continued.
"Okay. Fine. I'll go" Lena replied.
"Good. Trina and Staci are waiting for you in the car" Ivanka replied.
Once she got in the car, Lena hadn't realized that she sat on a whoopie cushion.
"Heheheheheh. She totally fell for it" Trina said.
"Fell for what" Lena asked.
"You sat on a whoopie cushion, gurrrrl" Staci answered.
"Of all the pranks you could have pulled, you settled on a whoopie cushion? Why" Lena continued.
"Mom would let us pie you in the face" Trina replied.
After a ten minute drive, Staci and Trina dropped Lena off at Mary A. White Elementary School.
"Have a good day, sis" Trina said.
"Thanks. You two do the same" Lena said as she walked over to the fourth grade classroom door.
Meanwhile, BJ, Mikki, Mason, Deanna and Ayanna were waiting for Jenna.
"Where could she possibly be" BJ thought to himself.
Just then, she came up behind Deanna and poked her side.
"Heheh. That tickles" she said as she turned around and saw Jenna.
"Hey guys. Sorry I'm late" she said.
"Don't worry, Jenny. Class doesn't start for another five minutes" Deanna replied.
Five minutes later, the bell rang and BJ and Mikki went to their first class.
"Math seems to be our first class of the day" BJ said as Mikki took his arm.
"Yeah. Hopefully we have a good teacher" Mikki replied.
They went in the classroom and took their seats and then the teacher entered the room right after they sat down.
"Good morning class. My name is Mr. VanTimmeren or you can call me Mr. VT for short" he said as he wrote his name on the board.
After taking attendance, he wrote an equation along with the formula to solve it.
"Hmmmmm........ If X equals Y over 12 squared, then X has to be 6" Mikki thought to herself as she attempted to solve the equation.
Meanwhile, Lena was enjoying the fourth grade.
"This isn't so bad after all. I guess elementary school has less problems than what I'm more than likely going to experience in middle and high school" she thought to herself.
A few hours later, it was time for recess.
"Okay class. Time for recess" Mrs. Gancarz said as the bell rang.
All the students ran right out to the playground and got a game of kickball going.
"Can I play" Lena asked.
"Sorry, Lena. Both teams are full" Violet answered.
"Awww man. Oh well. Might as well play with a jump rope" Lena said as she pulled out a jump rope from the equipment shed.
Just then, Bobbi tripped her and caused her to scrape her knee.
"Oh c'mon. Why can't I enjoy the forty minutes of recess in peace" Lena asked.
"Because you'll always be my prime bully victim" Bobbi answered.
"Ugh. This stinks" Lena said as she went to go tell a teacher.
"What happened to your knee" the teacher asked.
"Someone pushed me down while I was jump roping" Lena answered.
Back at Grand Haven High School, it was time for lunch.
"Let's hope that the Girls of Wrath don't show up and scold us for sitting at their table" Makoto said.
"Right. I don't think I see them" Ayanna replied.
"Good" BJ said as they sat down.
Just then, the Girls of Wrath showed up.
"What do you think you scrubs are doing at OUR table" Danni asked.
"Trying to enjoy a decent lunch" Jenna answered.
"Can we join you" Kendra replied.
"Kendra, we're supposed to be against them" Daphne said.
"I know. I'm just being nice" Kendra said as BJ noticed their new outfits.
"Nice outfits, girls" he said.
"Oh. Thanks I guess" Bev replied.
"You're welcome" BJ said.
"Compliment or not, you still need to go enjoy your lunch somewhere else" Danni protested.
"No. This is a free country. We'll enjoy our lunch break at any table we want, thank you very much" Deanna exclaimed
"Whatever. You haven't seen the last of us" Sam replied.
After what seemed like forever, the school day had ended and Trina and Staci went to go pick up Lena.
"How was your first day of fourth grade" Trina asked.
"It was good. For the most part" Lena answered.
"What do you mean for the most part" Staci asked.
"I got bullied by that one girl you taught a lesson by tickling" Lena replied.
"In order to stop a bully, you should alert a teacher" Staci suggested.
"I did. But Bobbi still bullied me throughout the day" Lena said
Meanwhile, Mikki and BJ arrived home just before Mikki's parents.
"Man. School was good and tough at the same time" BJ said he and his girlfriend put their backpacks on the floor and turned on the Food Network.
"Ah. Nothing like some Triple D after surviving a day of school" Mikki said as she sat on the couch with her boyfriend.
"Yeah. I agree" BJ replied
