Chapter 15: One Flu Over

  "Sheesh. This is nuts" BJ said as he and Mikki walked in the door.
"What is it" Mikki asked
"It's only September and yet our teachers loaded us with homework this weekend" BJ answered.
"True but we can power through anything" Mikki replied.
"Alright. Let's do it" BJ exclaimed as they got started.
After what seemed like hours, Mika walked in the room.
"Hey guys. Ya got your homework done" she asked.
"Yeah. Why" BJ asked
"Just wondering. It's not like I was intending on copying it" Mika said with a fake smile on her face.
"Please explain yourself" Mikki replied.
"Okay. Ya got me. Please don't tickle me" Mika pleaded.
"Why would we do that" BJ asked.
"I dunno. You may not wanna tickle my perfect belly, but you know you want to" Mika answered.
"I know I want to but I won't" BJ replied.
The next day was Saturday and upon waking up, Ashley just wasn't feeling too good.
"Ugh. I feel like crap" she said as she got up.
"Everything okay, doc" Rosy asked
"Yeah. Everything is great" Ashley answered very sarcastically
"Oh good. I thought you were sick" Rosy replied.
"I am sick" Ashley said.
Just then, Wanda came right in and checked her out.
"Hmmmmmmm..... Your forehead feels warm" she said as she checked.
"Quick. Someone get me a bucket. I'm bout the hurl" Ashley replied.
"Did somebody say bucket" BJ asked as he came in with a bucket.
"Yeah. I did" Ashley answered.
"Here ya go" BJ said as handed her the bucket
"Thanks" she said as she started puking
"Anytime. Now you rest" BJ replied.
"Now BJ, I want you to watch Ashley while she's cooped up in bed" Wanda said.
"Uhhhhh..... Heheheh. Mikki and I have some plans today. So can't Rosy watch her" he asked.
"She's got an appointment for her physical. Look. To make a long story short, everyone else is busy and I need you and Mikki to just look after her for me. I may be a nurse but I got a life" Wanda answered.
"Ugh. Fine. I'll tell Mikki what's up" BJ said as he went over to the game room to explain everything to his girlfriend.
"Ready honey" she asked.
"Change of plans. Ashley is sick with the stomach flu. So therefore we have to take care of her" BJ answered.
"Awwww man" Mikki said.
Just then, they heard a horn.
"Mikki! BJ! I need you" Ashley said.
"What is it" they asked.
"I have to pee" Ashley answered.
"Don't worry. I got ya covered" Mikki said as she pulled out another bucket.
"Thanks" she replied.
"Anytime, doc. Will there be anything else" BJ asked
Ashley didn't say anything since she was puking into the other bucket.
"I guess not" Mikki said as they went downstairs to call their other friends.
"Hey gurrrrl. Are we on for today" Staci asked.
"Yes but we're gonna hang at the mansion. Not the arcade" Mikki answered.
"Oh. Any reason" Staci replied.
"My mom put BJ and I in charge of looking after Dr. Stein. She's got the stomach flu" Mikki said.
"That's gotta suck. Enid, Elizabeth, Shenzi, Kendall, Ariana and I will come right over" Staci said as she hung up.
A few minutes later, they arrived.
"Hey gurrrrrrl" Staci said as Mikki answered the door.
"Hey Staci" she replied.
"So the doc really got sick" Ariana asked.
"Yeah. It was like totes unexpected" BJ answered.
"Okay first off, don't say like and totes in the same sentence" Kendall replied.
"Heheheh. Sorry. I just wanted to be hip" BJ said.
"It's a real shame that she's sick" Ariana said.
"Why's that" Mikki asked.
"I just wanted to get an abdominal exam from her that's all" Ariana answered.
"Once she's feeling better, I'll let her know" BJ said as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Just then, Luxie came in the room.
"Hi there" she said
"EEEEK! A LUXRAY" Ariana exclaimed as she jumped into BJ's arms in fear.
"Something wrong" he asked.
"I'm afraid of Luxrays" she answered.
"Oh c'mon. I don't bite. Though I may shock ya" Luxie replied.
"That's what worries me the most" Ariana said.
Just then, Ashley honked her horn again.
"Someone come help me" she said.
"What is it this time" Mikki asked.
"Can you make me some soup" Ashley replied.
"Sure thing doc" Mikki said as she went down to the kitchen to make the soup.
A few hours later, she was feeling much better.
"Whew. That's a relief" she said as she went into the game room and saw BJ, Enid, Shenzi and Staci playing Marvel VS Capcom Infinite on two separate consoles.
"That's good. Ariana needs to see you" BJ replied.
"Okay. What for" Ashley asked.
"She just needs an abdominal exam" BJ answered.
"Alright. Send her in" Ashley said.
"Will do" BJ said as he sent her in.
"Man this game is cool" Shenzi said as she won.
"Yeah. I never thought it would be this good. Even without Deadpool" Enid added.
Meanwhile, in Ashley's room and office, Ariana prepared for her exam.
"Okay Ariana. I'm gonna need you to remove your belt before you lay down" Ashley said as she put on a pair of rubber gloves.
Once Ariana removed her belt, she layed down and pulled up her shirt to reveal her extremely pale belly.
"Oh my" Ashley said as she noticed her patient's belly.
"What's up" Ariana asked.
"You have very pale skin" Ashley answered.
"So? I rarely go outside" Ariana replied.
The first thing, the doctor did was inspecting her belly.
"Hmmmmmmm...... The overall shape is good. No lint in the navel. Looks like everything is good" Ashley said as she checked out her stomach.
"Does this mean I can go" Ariana asked.
"Sure. Why not" Ashley replied.
Meanwhile, Mikki and BJ were of course cuddling and something was about to happen.
"So..... I know what's probably gonna happen" Mikki said.
"Yeah. There's something I gotta tell ya" BJ replied.
"What's up" Mikki asked.
"Oh Mikki. You're so fine. You blow my mind" BJ answered.
"Awwwwwww. That's so sweet" Mikki replied.
"Thanks. I knew you'd like that" BJ said as Mikki dragged him into Smooch City.
Once they finished BJ had one major question he just had to pop. He got down on one knee and pulled out a small box.
"Mikki Leigh Rodgers, will you marry me" he asked as he opened the box.
"Oh my gosh! YES! YES! YES!" she answered all excited.
