Chapter 36: Country Slumber

  Callie and Terri were just sitting around bored out of their minds when all of a sudden, one of them got an idea.
"How bout we have a slumber party tonight" Callie suggested to her twin sister.
"That's a great idea. Though I reckon some ticklin' might take place" Terri replied.
"Y'all shouldn't assume tickling is gonna take place at every slumber party" Callie said.
"Well it almost always happens" Terri said as she sent texts to some of the other country girls in town.
Within seconds, Bailey and Lulubelle replied to the invites and rushed over immediately.
"Now hold on a sec. How come you two rushed over here" Callie asked.
"It's just because we wanted to hang out with you guys before the slumber party actually begins" Bailey answered.
"Alright. What do y'all wanna do before the party officially begins" Terri asked.
"Why not head to the mall" Lulu replied.
"Good idea" Callie said as she grabbed the keys to her pickup truck.
After a twenty minute drive, they arrived at the mall.
"Hmmmm..... Where to go first" Terri thought to herself.
Just then, she saw BJ and Mikki going into FYE.
"Looks like I know where my first stop is" Terri said as she went into FYE.
Meanwhile, BJ was looking at Marvel Select figures.
"Wow. There are way too many options here" he said as he was trying to decide between the Hulk and Spider-Man.
"If you want my opinion, I say go for Carnage" Mikki replied.
"Eh. I might as well get all 3 of them since I can't decide" BJ said.
"Good idea" Mikki said as she and her boyfriend got in line to pay.
While they were waiting, Terri came up to them.
"Howdy guys" she said.
"Oh hi Terri. What's up" BJ asked.
"Nothin'. Callie, Lulu, Bailey and I decided to come here to pass time until our country slumber party" Terri answered.
"Cool. That should be fun" Mikki replied.
"Trust me. It will be. I'm looking for a cool cartoon on DVD. Do you have any suggestions" Terri asked.
"Ever heard of Go Go Gophers" BJ asked.
"Go Go Gophers? What the heck kind of name is that? It sounds like the theme song for the Power Rangers if they were gophers" Terri said as she was very confused.
After paying for the Marvel figures, BJ and Mikki gave Terri a history lesson about Total Television Productions.
"Go Go Gophers was a segment on Underdog starting in 1966 when the show had moved from NBC to CBS. The segments focused on an army colonel and sergeant trying to run two Gopher Indians out of their land called Gopher Gulch. It was so popular that just two years after it debuted as a segment on The Underdog Show, it was spun off into its own series in 1968. Sure it's politically incorrect nowadays. But back in the 60's, it was all good" BJ said as he explained the plot.
"Sweet. That sounds great" Terri said as she found a DVD of the show and proceeded to buy it.
Meanwhile, Callie and Lulu were at the Crop Shop.
"Do we really need more belly shirts" Lulu asked.
"Nonsense, Lulu. Y'all can never have too many shirts" Callie answered.
"Whatever. I mean I like showing off my belly. But as of a few weeks ago, I try not to do so as much" Lulu replied.
"That's understandable. I don't really show much skin anymore either. But it's nice to have the option" Callie said as they got in line to pay.
"Right" Lulu replied.
After paying, they all met up at the food court for some Subway before heading back to Callie and Terri's.
"Y'all won't believe what I bought for some TV entertainment during the slumber party" Terri said.
"What is it" Bailey asked.
"I can't tell ya. It's a surprise" Terri answered.
"Okay. I hope it's something good" Bailey replied.
Once they got back to Callie and Terri's, everyone got their sleeping bags set up in the living room.
"Should we change into our pajamas yet" Lulu asked.
"Nah. It's only 5:30. We'll change in a few hours" Callie answered.
"Alright. What's first on the list" Bailey asked.
"First up is dinner. I already called for a pizza delivery" Terri replied.
Just then, someone knocked on the door.
"Hey ya go" Callie said as she paid for the pizzas.
"Thanks. Have a nice day" the pizza delivery guy said.
"You too" Callie replied.
After dinner, Terri fired up the DVD player and put in the Go Go Gophers DVD.
"What in the heck is this supposed to be" Bailey asked.
"It's an old cartoon from the 1960's about two Gopher Indians trying to outsmart a colonel and sergeant" Terri answered.
"It had better be good" Bailey replied
After a few episodes, she seemed to like it.
"That was a pretty funny show" Bailey said.
"Yeah. Who knew a small segment from Underdog would be so entertaining" Lulu added.
A while later, the four country girls played some Super Smash Bros. Melee just before changing into their pajamas.
"Alright. Now I reckon our truth or dare game can officially begin" Callie said.
"Okay. Bailey, truth or dare" Terri asked.
"Dare" Bailey answered.
"I dare you to lick the floor" Terri said.
Bailey then proceeded to lick the carpeted floor.
"That was gross" she said.
"Hey. Y'all knew the risks when ya signed up for this" Callie replied.
"Lulu, truth or dare" Terri asked.
"Dare" Lulu answered.
"I dare you to put four ice cubes down your pants" Terri said.
"Alright. I'll do it" Lulu said as she went over to the freezer and grabbed four ice cubes.
"Here goes nothing" she said as she put the ice cubes down her pants.
"Yikes! That's cold" she continued.
"Callie, truth or dare" Terri asked.
"Dare" Callie answered.
"I dare you to sell a piece of trash to someone in the group" Terri said.
Many rounds later, Callie and Terri decided to introduce their friends to a new kind of tickling game.
"Alrighty girls. Since y'all are from Tennessee, Callie and I are gonna teach ya a new way to tickle people" Terri said.
"Okay. What is it" Lulu asked.
"It's called the Texas Tummy Tickle" Callie said.
"How exactly do you do such a thing" Bailey asked.
"First y'all gotta hogtie your tickle victims arms and legs" Terri said as she tied Callie's arms and legs down.
"Ummmm..... Terri. Why exactly am I the model for this" Callie asked.
"Because you said you wanted to be the model while we were eatin' at the mall" Terri answered.
"Oh right. I forgot" Callie replied.
"Anyways, the next step is to pull up your victim's shirt" Terri said as she pulled up Callie's shirt to reveal her stomach and belly button.
"What's the final step" Lulu asked.
"I reckon it's quite simple. The final step is to tickle your victim's belly. But not too much. Be sure to take breaks so they can breathe" Terri answered.
After the demonstration and some tickle sessions, it was already midnight.
"Wow. Time sure does fly when you're havin' fun" Callie said.
"Yeah. Now let's all get to bed" Terri said as they all go into their sleeping bags.
