Percy POV
I wake up still in the dining room and throbbing all over me. I can walk, with me being all half-immortal and stuff, but it's still a pain in the neck.
I go to my room and check out my wounds. A huge knife gnash down my side, cut down the side of my face, black eye, bruises, another broken rib, more cuts...yep, I got the whole package!
I throw on some clothes and hurry downstairs. Gabe is waiting for me there.
"Be home by seven and not a minute later."
"Yes, sir." I'm a little shocked. He never lets me out this long.
He must've seen it though because he answers my question. "The gods have decided that you need a break and all that yada yada. Breaking it would mean I get sent back down to the Underworld."
"Yes, sir."
"Leave." I run out, still shocked that 1. He's letting me out of the house this long and 2. He didn't beat me up this morning.
Gabe POV
I so wanted to beat that punk up but you know, I have to listen to Zeus. Besides, that kid is getting something far worse than I could ever do.
Who knew the gods had such great ideas for revenge?
Percy POV
I run to school and bury my head in my locker. Soon, Dylan walks up to me and slams me again.
"Hey, punk! Have my lunch?"
"No," I say spitefully.
"Then I guess I'll have to get it myself." He pushes me to the floor again and goes through my stuff.
"Dylan! Look!" His friend, Gavin, I think exclaims. I can't see anything past Dylan's shoes.
"What?" Dylan asks annoyed.
"There's nine new people coming in and the girls are hot!"
Dylan immediately whips around to see. I look too and almost die from a panic attack.
