The New Quest

Annabeth POV
I woke up with a start. I had a dream about him. That disgusting, traitorous, piece of seaweed slum!

I got out of bed and met up with the others: Jason, Piper, Frank, Leo, Calypso, Hazel, Thalia, Grover, and Nico. Ever since that thing with that sea trash, the gods made us 3/4 immortal—like the hunters but we don't have the "no liking or dating guys" rule—to make sure no one ends up like him.

"Hey, guys!" I greet.

"Hey, Annabeth!" They answer and we all sit down at the counselor's table.

Frank, Hazel, and Jason came to visit. We heard from Chiron that we had a quest.

Soon, he comes up to us and says that Zeus needed us in the Big House. We obey without hesitation.

"Hello, demigods!" Zeus says. "We have a quest for you."

"What is it, sire?" I ask.

"There is a certain demigod at a high school in New York that we would like you to check out."

"What's so special about him you would need all ten of us?" Thalia crosses her arms. She's one of the only people that can talk to him like that. After all, she is his daughter and lieutenant of the Hunters of Artemis.

"He's more powerful than anything we've ever seen and if they become a little too hesitant, you all will be there to make sure they comply."

"What do you want us to do?"

"Bring them to whatever camp they belong to, Greek or Roman then alert us immediately and we will come see him. He's very powerful from what Poseidon sensed." 

"Yes, sire."

"What school is it?" Jason asks.

"Goode High School."

"Anything else?"

"That is all. Good luck!" With that, he vanishes.

I turn to my friends. "What did you think of that?"

"High school? Sure, why not? We haven't been to one in decades. All those babes throwing themselves at me." Leo pretends to comb back his hair then flexes his nonexistent muscles.

"Yeah, right." Calypso elbows him in the ribs. "The only girl you're gonna get is me."

"One hot, smoking, girl." Leo grins and Calypso kisses him on the cheek.

I start to laugh. "C'mon, lovebirds. We leave first thing in the morning. Chiron will make sure we have all the information needed for our classes."

Goode High School, here we come!
