Percy Jackson: Immortal High School, Mortal Pain (Completed)

Help! Someone Stole Ambrosia and Nectar!

Percy POV
Vance has been annoying me all week! He keeps asking questions and doesn't stop! He's like nails on a chalkboard!

Today at lunch, I was eating in the library (Dylan hadn't tried to take my lunch this morning) and reading a book about Greek mythology, when he comes up to me, with everyone else.

"Hey, Peter." I don't respond and he grabs my book. "Hey, Peter."

"What do you want?" I ask.

"Greek mythology? I didn't know you liked this stuff." He raises his eyebrows.

"I do, now leave me alone."

"'Nectar and Ambrosia, the medicine that could heal demigods.'" He reads. "Why are you looking at this page?"

"I was reading the book, until you came in here."

"Did I? Here." He drops the book on the floor, creating a loud noise and making the librarian look at us disapprovingly.

I grab the book and open it again. "Leave me alone in peace."

"Yeah, Vance, stop. Let's just go." Frank and Hazel say.

"There's something I want to blow up with Calypso before class starts so can we please leave?" Leo asks.

"No can do, guys. Y'all can go, but I'll stay here." Everyone leaves except Jason, Thalia, and Annabeth.

"You never told me what you wanted." I say annoyed.

"Why are you in here when you could be in the cafeteria with everyone else?"

"I prefer peace and quiet, not noise and aggravation from someone like you."

"I'm noisy?" He pretends fake shock. "That's not possible."

"It is so true. When you talk, you talk like you're miles away from someone and your laugh sounds like a hyena."

Vance gets angry again and Annabeth steps in. "Peter, stop talking to my boyfriend like that."

"Yeah, stop." He sticks his tongue out at me and I roll my eyes.

"How can you out up with this guy?" I ask. "He acts like a two year old not getting his way."

"Tell me about it." Thalia mumbles.

The bell rings and I get up, taking the book with me. "Sorry I can't chat anymore, Guys, but I have to get to class. See ya!"

Annabeth POV
"Told ya he'd leave." I say to my boyfriend.

"He scampered off like a coward."

"You have no heart."

"I have a heart and it all goes to you."

I feel my body relax and I forget what had just happened. "Really?"

"Really. Let's go. We have a class to get to." We both walk hand-in-hand out of the library.

Percy POV
After school, I walk outside the school doors, thinking. Vance was on to me. He knew something was up. What was I going to do?

"Hey, Peter!" a voice says behind me. I turned and saw Thalia, Grover, Nico, Hazel, Frank, Leo, and Calypso standing there.

"Hey." I nod and they walk up to me. "Where's the others?"

"Jason and the others? They're hanging out at the park and we didn't want to go." Hazel shrugged.

"So...Peter, what do you think of Vance?" Leo asks.
