[A/N: Hi guys! I'm going to ask you one thing, just a thing; please don't hate me because of this chapter. Lol. We will be having split POVs. Anyways, enjoy mga bibeh!]

I look around my office and sigh heavily. I'm really leaving my job. I'm leaving Miami... And I'm leaving Lauren, again. And this time, I know I won't be coming back.

I haven't thought about the green-eyed woman since our last talk at the park. I actually don't want to remember every stupid shit I told her, and I don't want to remember her crying so hard when I was bitching her. I think it's for the best if I just remove her from my thoughts and act like nothing happened and act like she's just from my past.

I already place my stuff in my boxes and I'm ready to leave for my flight tomorrow, and to return to Boston.

I went outside my office and I can see my team, they are really busy on taking care of our patients. I'm going to miss these guys. Cameron and Niall might have been a little jerks to me when I first got here, but we settled everything and became friends. They still hasn't know that I will be leaving this place. I will just tell them before my shift ends and before I leave Miami Hospital.

-

I knock softly, three times on Dr. Luke Hemming's door. I was dribbling outside his office while I'm patiently waiting for someone to open it up. "Come in!" I heard him shout. I twist the door open and see him arranging his books on the shelf. "Dr. Y/NN," He smiles at me as he greeted me. "What brings you here?" The neuro surgeon asks.

"Luke," I step inside his office and I lift the ball up from my hand. "Can I ask for a rematch for a beer?" I asked him and the blonde Aussie smirks at me.

"Always," He remove his coat, then he motioned for me to wait him outside while he's changing into so much comfortable clothes to play basketball.

Moments later, we sprinted out of the hospital and went to the court. We keep on shooting hoops, back and forth. We don't care if the sun is about to set. But Luke and I are thankful that we're not going to perform any surgery for today. So that means we're free. We don't even have any patients that have worst situation, our team can clearly handle everything in the hospital today.

And now, Luke is trying to steal the ball from me. We've been playing for almost twenty minutes now and I'm currently leading on the score and I only need to shoot it and the game is over. The sweat that's forming on my forehead are dripping down on my face.

I keep dribbling the ball and I decided to make step back then release the ball from my hand. Our eyes are on the ball that keeps on circling in the air. "Yes! I won again!" I shouted when we watch it went in.

"You're too good for this game," Luke huffs but congratulated me. "So, beers on me?"

"You got it," I chuckled and we both made our way to the parking lot.

"Let's go," Luke beckoned for me to go with him and I instantly sprinted on his way. I opened the passenger door of the Aussie's car and slide inside. I buckle my seatbelt and the blue-eyed man did the same as he started the ignition of his car.

We're making our way in the convience store to buy some beers. The car ride was silent until Luke decided to speak up, "So, you're really going huh?" I turn my head to him and knotted my eyebrows.

"How did you know I'm leaving?" I asked him and he just gave me a half smile. "Where did you heard that?"

"Dr. Jauregui," He breathed out. "Dr. Jauregui was telling my mom and I that your flight will be tomorrow morning." Figures. I know Mike will be the one who's going to tell them. "It's sad that we haven't been hanging out that much. I want to get to know you more, as a friend." He looks at me then back at the road. "I was hoping that you and Lauren will get along at least for once but it looks like it's not going to happen." My body stiffens when I heard the name that I've been avoiding these past few days.
