"Emergency mobilize! Emergency mobilize! A man in his forties has collapsed in the park near the Miami's Hospital. It has been reported that he collapsed after he complained his chest pain!" I heard from the speakers of the headquarters.

My ears perked up and I stopped myself from checking the reports when I heard that we're being mobilize for the first time in three days.

I quickly hopped off from my office desk and place the reports on my desk as I rushed out to the parking lot. I don't actually have to go with them in some other emergency mobilize because I know they can do it on their own, but I know this time that they will need me.

I saw Lauren and Brad making their way to the ambulance. They stopped and they both crooked their eyebrows at me and I can see them smile in relief. "Thank God! You're here!" The green-eyed woman breathed out.

"It seems like it's an acute cardiac arrest so I thought you guys will need me." Lauren quickly grab my wrist and drag me to the ambulance.

"Let's go!" The Bristish lad exclaimed.

I open the backdoors and slid myself inside while Brad will be the one who's going to drive us to the place where we needed tp be and Lauren will be sitting next to him.

It only took us three to five minutes to reach our destination. As soon as we went out of the vehicle, we spotted the a group of people eyeing the man laying on the floor, we instantly went to his side and kneel down. And place down our medical kits on our sides.

I check his pulse on the side of his neck and his heart is barely beating. "It's a cardiac arrest." I announced to my team. "Perform CPR," I commanded the curly head man and he immediately did what I said.

"One... Two... Three... Four..."

"Jauregui, can you give me the AED." (Automated External Defibrillator)

"Here," She handed it to me and I unzip it.

The Latina cut the man's shirt in half while Brad is still doing the CPR. "Five... Six... Seven... Eight... Nine..." Brad muttered out under his breath.

I turn the AED on, "Please attach the defibrillator to the patient." I patch it on the man's chest. "Analyzing the rhythm. Shock advise, please stand clear."

"Stand back," I told the rookie and he nodded his head as he stops on doing the CPR.

We heard a electric shock coming from the AED and the patient arch his back. "Shock delivered. Continue doing the CPR."

I checked the older man's pulse and it's still the same. I glance up at Lauren, "Please give me an IV set and one ampule of epinephrine." The Cuban nodded her head and quickly rummaged inside the medicine bag.

Brad is still performing the CPR at the patient while I tie and knot on the man's arm then I slowly pin the IV needle on his vein. I grab the liquid medicine from Lauren's hand that's place inside the syringe and inject it to him.

"Analyzing the rhythm. Shock advise, please stand clear." Brad stops his movements again then the same electric shock coming from the AED was heard. "Defibrillation has been attempted."

The curly head guy lean his face closer to the patient's mouth and I can see his face smile knowing that he finally come back to his senses. "He's finally breathing," Brad said.

I check the pulse on the side of the man's neck and I can't help but sigh in relief. His pulse came back to normal. "There's also a pulse on his carotid artery. So, for now, I think he just overcome the worst that could happen to him. Now, let's rush him quickly in the Emergency Room."
