Lauren's POV

"There's a patient in her mid-sixties. Complaining about her stomach pain and she even said that she doesn't have anyone at her house but her. She doesn't have any guardian." We heard Ty said from the small radio speaker. "She said that she lived in a house at the hill with Lotus Fairy written in front of it."

"Fairy? What fairy?" Brad asked our head chief but he didn't respond after that. "We're going to the hill? Oh my God," He groaned and continue driving the ambulance.

A few moments later, we've finally reached the hill that Tyrone told us to go.

I don't know how long Brad and I have been walking around looking for this house with Lotus Fairy or some shit. I rest my hands on my knees as I try to catch my breath. "Hold on," I told the Bristish lad. "I'm so tired," Brad look back at me then he suddenly shout out of nowhere.

"Leader, I found it. The Lotus Fairy." Brad pointed out at the front of the patient's house and I've never been so happy to see that we finally reached our destination.

We immediately rushed inside and saw an old woman clutching her stomach. "My belly, my chest. It hurts." She groaned and rolled on the floor in pain. I look around and saw her house like she's a fortune teller or pyschic or something.

"I'm dying, I'm dying." She said in between breaths. "Buddha, Allah, God, whoever who's up there. I think I'm dying. Please save me." She sit up and clutch her stomach again.

I kneel down beside her and she lay down again while her hands are still holding on to her stomach. "Patient, does your chest hurt too? How does it hurt?" I aske her but she just shook her head side to side. "Just try to endure your pain a little longer. We'll escort you to the hospital as fast as we could." I told her.

We helped her to stand up on her own while Brad and I are holding onto her side. As soon as we stepped outside the old lady's house, the curly brown-eyed guy opens the back of the ambulance. I don't know what happened to her but she suddenly take a step back and shouted. What's up with people shouting out of nowhere?

"No! If you're going to make me go there, just kill me instead you wench!" The old woman shouted and gripped my arm tightly. "I'm not going in there!"

"But patient, you have to go in there if you want us to take you to the hospital." I told her but she keeps on shaking her head so fast that I'm afraid her head will fall.

"That's not an emergency car! That's a funeral car! There's a lot of dead souls wedge inside there. I won't get in there!" She growled. Brad and I take a glance at each other worriedly. "Bring me another car, you two!" She grab the collar of Brad's and I's uniform and pull us closer to her. "I'm not going in there!"

"What should we do, Leader Jauregui?" The rookie sighed in exasperated tone.

"What do you mean what should we do? Call an Uber! Hurry up!" I instructed him but he just gave me a confused look.

"What?" He tilted his head and we look down and saw the old lady complaining about her stomach again.

"Hurry your ass up Brad! Call an Uber! We need to take her to the hospital!" Brad quickly fished his phone out of his pocket and call the damn Uber.

"Save a person," The old lady wheezed out.

-

"Do you feel better?" I place my hand on top of the patient's hand that's resting on her knee.

After a few minutes of calming the patient down because of her stomach pain and her hysterically shouting because of the ambulance, the Uber finally arrived and we quickly went inside while Brad take the emergency vehicle. He's driving it to the hospital while our Uber car is trailing behind him.
