Chapter 7

"You ready?" I asked the green-eyed girl who just ame out of their house. I've been waiting for her to get ready for almost twenty minutes now, but I don't mind waitig for her though.

I eyed her up and down and I saw that she's wearing a floral dress that's above her knees. Her hair is flowing beautifully on her chest. My eyes scan her face and the green-eyed Cuban decided to put some red lipstick and she look even more beautiful than ever. My breath hitch on my throat as I check her out. Fuck, I thought. She's really pretty.

"Y/N?" I heard her call for me. I was brought back to reality when I felt her hands wraps around my fore arm. I place my hand on top of hers and guided her to the car.

I borrowed Justin's car for today and thankfully, he didn't ask me a lot of questions why I wanted to borrow his car. I needed Lauren to be comfortable on the way to the movie theater and her riding my bike with me is not a good option, and especially that she's wearing a dress.

"Ye-yeah?" I mentally slapped myself when I stuttered out.

"Where'd you go? I've been calling you attention for like three straight minutes," I heard her giggles, ah music to my ears.

I open the passenger door and I slowly duck her head so she cannot bump her head on her way inside. I sprinted to the driver seat and take a sit. Lauren was seated next to me and she's and try to find the seatbelt. I take the seatbelt and buckle it for her. I did the same to mine and I started the car engine.

"Sorry, I zoned out awhile ago. It's just- you're just- you just really really look beautiful." I stammered out. I mentally high-fived myself for complimenting the Latina and I can see a faint blush creeping on her cheeks.

"Thanks," She quietly muttered.

Before I can pull out of their driveway, a beautiful petite brunette knocked on Lauren's window. She looks familiar, I think I saw her at the planetarium the first time I went there.

I roll down the passenger window and she popped her head inside. "Hey, Laur."

"Lucy?" Oh, so she's Lucy. She's Lauren's bestfriend.

"You forgot this," Lucy handed her her pouch and Lauren gladly take it.

"Oh, thanks. I knew I forgot something." The green-eyed girl chuckled. I was watching their interaction.

"You're welcome, now have fun." She plants a kiss on Lauren's temples. She turn her gaze to me. "So... you're Y/N?" I nodded my head and she stick her hand out, "Lucy, Lucy Vives. Lauren's bestfriend," I take it and shake her hand. I can feel squeeze it lightly and she's glaring at me. What did I do?

"We're going now, Luce."

The brunette nodded and she mouthed to me, I am watching you. And she pointed her eyes to mine. I must admit, she's pretty intimidating.

I roll up the window and started pulling out of Lauren's driveway. I turn on the radio as we're making our way to the movie theater.

I can hear the girl beside me, singing. She really have a great voice. "You have a really great voice," I look at the Cuban and she's trying not to smile but she failed.

"I don't," She argued.

"Yeah you do," I look back at the road and finally, we reached our destination. "We're here," I announced and unbuckle my seatbelt. I hopped out of the car and jog my way to the passenger side. I opened it for Lauren and unbuckle her seatbelt as I take her hand, she stepped out of the car and close the car door behind her.

"Thank you," Lauren mumbled under her breath.

"Let's go?" I smiled as I look down at her and she have the same smile like mine.
