That Girl: A Tomboy

I won't lie and say that I was a normal girl growing up......cause I did not.  I couldn't let go of the fact that I was a teenager in a baby's body and that I had died in my previous life.

Don't get me wrong I was a happy baby and I loved my new family with all my heart, especially my big sisters An and Rachel but the secret of knowing their future and deaths causes me to be very cautious around new people. But who could blame me.

The queen was loon. Demons, Death Gods, and Angels existed, and one of my sisters will birth a child that will set course for London's destruction and the other would become a psycho murdering bitch.

As for me?

I just hoped to survive.

So I studied, I planned, and I made sure that I would be ready for anything that came my way.

Except for this.

Corsets.

The bane of my existence but luckily I was able to avoid wearing a corset because of my already small waist from my rapier and martial art practices as well as dance making me graceful as a swan but deadlier than any blade. But alas the one thing I couldn't escape from the hell that is socializing because a important guest was coming.

So I took it like a women and put on my most modest and plain dress I owned, it was a simple mini white dress with a nice black bow on the collar and a comfortable knee length black skirt with black  grey leggings and brown lace up boots.

What? Do you really think I would wear heels too?

Ya......NO.

I do not like uncomfortable shoes.

"Mistress?" My loyal butler, Haji spoke as he knocked at my bedroom door.

"Are you presentable yet? Your already late to greet your  father's guest."

I sighed adjusting my intricate half up, half down crown braid before I opened the door.

I was met with a firm chest cloaked in a butlers tailcoat. 'Curse my tiny doll-like stature!!!!' I tilted my head up to look Haji in the face. "What did I tell you Haji I don't want you to call me mistress. We are friends! Elena is fine" I chided my butler lightly making his lips quirk. 'He just likes ruffling my feathers..." I sigh. "Fine then call me whatever you want....." I mumbled as I walked away, knowing his demon hearing could hear me.

I walked down the hallway past a window taking in the beautiful scenery, and looking longingly to the forest "I could be reading a good book right now in my tree....." I mumbled, a cloud of gloom appearing over my head.

"A tree?" A young man voiced, taking Elena by surprise.

'Vincent Phantomhive?!' She inwardly gaped, taking notice of her sisters on each of his arm.

"Elena there you are! Let me introduce you to Earl Phantomhive, he's the guest father was mentioning." Rachel said eagerly, snapping the young girl of her thoughts.

"Pleasure to make your aquaitence...." I said to him, dipping my head in acknowledgement as I did a slight curtsy. I kept my head bowed not trusting myself to meet his eyes. If he was anything like his son Ciel in Black Butler, then Vincent Phantomhive was a dangerous man that could put a wrench in her plans. "Please excuse me, I have other duties to attend to...." I quickly twirled on my heel and glided past the trio not giving the queen's guard dog another glance.

Not noticing the young earl's eyes twinkle as he watched the younger Dallas resident disappear behind the corner.
