5 months without publishing and she comes back with a rant.
I posted this on my profile, but I'm posting it here. Sorry this isn't an update. I've been very busy with school ending a while ago and my Driver's Ed classes as well as going out of town, but I really quickly want to discuss this because I'm pissed.
The fact that Death Note is being made into an Americanized and totally whitewashed Netflix series is so disappointing. I get that we're in America and shit, but it still gives them no right. How will they create the Near situation? Will they even keep that in?
In my opinion, the hard work that Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata put into making this anime is being disrespected by the creator of the Netflix series. He claimed in an interview that it was becoming hard to stay true to the actual anime. If you can't stay true to it, then don't make it.
I refuse to watch the trailer because I will not be giving them any views on Youtube and I won't watch it on any other social media. I'm not even going to be giving them a chance when this is released. I refuse to support this in any way.
America is literally ruining everything. First this, then what? Attack on Titan live-action? Please don't oh my gosh I don't know if I'd be able to live in this world anymore.
Anyways, that's all I have to say. Hopefully I'll be updating soon.
