-Chapter 7-

I was grinning from ear to ear when I entered the school hall. I had been cheerful and happy ever since Blake took me to the concert and Brandon took me to the fun fair.

He insisted I go with him because he had no one to go with. I had the cravings for cotton candy so I agreed to go with him. He won me a stuffed teddy bear and a huge stuffed minion. Who knew he was so good at the toss a ring game. His shots were so accurate and good that every ring he threw, got hooked onto the bottles. We sat on many rides too and he bought me dinner. It was a fun 'date' just like Luke's. They were being so nice to me, trying to get me out of the house. I stayed in for too long and I didn't know what I was missing. Well, now I knew.

He was so cute and a little shy around me which made him look adorable.

We sat on a few roller coasters, those not so scary ones. We did go on one scary one, only because Brandon begged me to. It scared the living hell out of me and I promised to kill him if he made me do it again. We also sat on the Ferris wheel, I always liked that ride. It was slow and nice. Really calm and you could see everything from the top. We sat on that ride for about 3 times, credits to me.

The date was a cliche but cute and I really had fun.

I smiled at the thought of the date but my smile was wiped clean at the sight of Cameron. He shot me a smile when he spotted me before walking towards me.

I didnt want to talk to him, so I scrambled to find somewhere to disappear, in the end I hid behind Nick.

"Vanessa. Can I talk to you for a second?" Cameron asked.

"Leave her alone Cam. Cant you see she doesnt want to see you?" Nick defended me.

"Can you let her talk for herself, Nick?" he hissed.

"Why cant you get the hint and leave." Nick growled.

"I just want to talk to her!"

"Blake, take her. If he doesnt stop talking, I think I might need to knock some sense into this guy and it aint going to be pretty." Nick ordered.

"Nick, let's just leave." Blake said.

"Yeah, be smart and just leave, Nick." Cameron huffed.

"You cant shut your mouth ever can you?" Nick yelled and before anyone could react, Nick's fist came in contact with Cameron's jaw.

I heard Cam wince in pain as Blake pulled me away.

"Come on Vanessa." he pleaded. "We need to leave. If we are the bystanders when they get caught, we would get in trouble too."

"And let them fight their guts out? You dont know how violent they can get!" I sniffled, the two best friends were fighting because of me. Guilt started eating me as I flashed back to the days they were best friends while Cassie and me were inseperable too. Oh, how I missed that.

"Brandon and Luke are there. They will do something. But now, I need to get you out of here." he said and pushed me to class.

"Dont come looking for us. I promise you that I will get them to stop fighting if you stay here."

I nodded and he left.

I pretended as though nothing happened and took my usual seat. The teacher came in there were no sign of Cameron, Nick and Blake who were suppose to be in this very same class.

I started to get really nervous and the urge to search for them was growing every second.

The class ended with neither of them inside. I packed up my stuff and rushed out to find them. I caught Blake standing by my locker. He looked like he was waiting for me.
