Two Sides of the Coin
In those five years I learned to embrace jealousy and territoriality. I got tired of being the voiceless victim that everyone stepped on. I got tired of being selfless so I succumb into this world called greed and evil.
I walked with my signature Scarlet Jung killer elegance making everyone see who I’ve become. Jin’s tongue got caught by a cat as I approached him and his hoe.
“Hae Jung-ssi, it’s good to finally see you in flesh.” I smiled my ever loving smile as I greeted her.
Seo Hae Jung, the masterpiece I’ve created, only meant to be destroyed.
“Miss Scarlet! It’s nice to meet you too!” she replied with a feign confidence.
She wasn’t supposed to debut but I turned her into an actress. Jin was fooling around with many girls before but she has always his favorite so why not make her bloom, right?
“Daddy, who is she?” Han Sung asked obviously not pleased at all.
“Oh. My bad. Hae Jung-ssi, this is Han Sung. Mine and Jin’s son.” I introduced my ever adorable son proudly.
Hae Jung knows about Han Sung. According to my reliable source, Jin told her about me and my son. How sweet of him, right?
She then unwrapped her arms around Jin’s. Good girl!
“Hi Han Sung! I’m Hae Jung. You can call me aunt Hae Jung.” She smiled fakely as she crouch down to Han Sung’s level.
“Why are you with my dad?” Han Sung asked without a hint of humor.
“Han Sung darling she's just your dad’s co-worker.” I explained to my nearly mad son. Han Sung is a smart child, too smart that he could actually understand what’s happening around him.
“Why don’t you play with your uncle Taehyung first?” I asked with a pinch of excitement covering my voice just to make him feel less heated.
“Taehyungie, favor please.” I called out sweetly like my usual Scarlet Jung self.
Everyone in the room was frozen except for me, Han Sung and the trash in the form of Hae Jung. Her guts really entertain me so much that’s why I want to play with her longer.
“O-of course Seyeonie.” Taehyung stuttered but I just smiled gratefully at him.
He took Han Sung out of the room and I just stood gracefully in front of Jin and a now standing Hae Jung.
“Mr. Bang, I thought we’ve had an agreement?” I asked calmly with my tranquil smile still on.
“I certainly informed everyone Miss Jung. My apologies.” He bowed apologetically “Hae Jung-ah did I not inform you to not come to the company today?” he then asked Hae Jung without masking exasperations.
“Mr. Bang, please let Hae Jung-ssi go. I’m sure she has an IMPORTANT reason for showing up here.” With all false concern, I looked at Hae Jung for an explanation.
“I’m sorry. I just drop by to invite everyone for dinner later. It’s my birthday. I’m sorry Miss Scar. I didn’t know you are here.” She bowed to Mr. Bang first then to me.
That’s right. Bow down to me.
“Oh! Happy Birthday then and please cut the formalities. You are older than me after all so please just address me casually.” I replied with all poise and class.
