Chapter 29

Friends

One week passed after my confrontation with Jin. One week since we last talked to each other.

After he revealed the reason of his actions, I walked away because I am a coward. I can’t say anything because the damn butterflies in my stomach have gone wild and I was afraid that if I stood there longer I might kiss him and beg for him to take me away.

Away from Min Wook.

In those one week, many things have happened.

My parents returned to the U.S. after visiting us in Min Young’s villa four days ago. Min Wook, the devil asked for a dinner date which happened just two nights ago and no we did not sleep together because I didn’t do anything to displease him.

Namjoon, Taehyung and I made it to national television news because of the ruckus we created outside Gucci’s store which the people started a dating rumor between me and Namjoon or Taehyung because of the photos that went viral with Namjoon holding my wrist securely and Taehyung came out looking protective of me as well with both his hands on my shoulder. The three of us denied the rumors six days ago.

We spent New Year’s eve on Jin’s parents and it was amazing except for the part that Jin and I really didn’t talk at all. Han Sung, the poor child, has become our messenger whenever there’s a need to tell either of us something or him calling me out for meal. Just like the time Jin had been giving me cold shoulders

I visited BigHit five days ago and arrange the final story-line and set the shooting date of the MV which happens to be today.

We’re here at a high school in Daegu for the first location. Just like what Min Young preferred, Yoongi hyung became the male lead number two and Namjoon got the male lead number one. No one can complain because it was done by draw of luck like what they all agreed on.

Because Jin didn’t get the role he was automatically paired up with his girlfriend, Hae Jung.

Why Hae Jung is with us? The creative team decided to have someone as my best friend just like the typical drama or story and I didn’t oppose since her character does not affect the story line. She just simply affects me much to my sorrow.

“Miss Jung, Miss Kim, we’ll be filming behind the scenes for BTS memory of 2022 in a few minutes.” A staff informed me and Min Young.

Min Young is with us throughout the entire MV shoot because she will be the one taking care of me and she sponsored all of our outfit except for the high school uniform that I’m currently wearing.

Ah Reum and Maggie unnie volunteered to fly back here in Korea to do their job but I didn’t let them. I insist that they continue with their break since by the end of January it will be more hectic than my usual hectic sched.

Han Sung, on the other hand, was under Jin’s mom’s care while we’re working.

“Why would you guys shoot me as well? I’m no celebrity.” Min Young complaint as she was ironing my hair.

“It’s okay. We’re ready for that anytime and just don’t mind her.” I chuckled and the staff bowed.

“I wasn’t supposed to be here you know but we can’t just let anyone touch you so here I am the CEO of a global clothing line ironing an actress hair!” she laughed sarcastically while I just rolled my eyes at her through the vanity mirror.

“Tch! I know you’re enjoying this too Young-ah. I can see improvements with you and your lover-boy and please I didn’t ask you to do this. You VOLUNTEERED.” I laughed softly. This girl really! How long will she be in denial?
