Instinctively, Iseul grabbed the corners of the table as herself and the others jerked when the caravan went over a speed bump. Beside her, Jungkook popped in his mouth another pill to combat his motion sickness. On the other side of the table, Eunbi was calmly scrolling through her phone, unaffected by the abrupt movements.
"Are you sure you are qualified to be driving this thing?" called out Iseul, she always asked the same question every few minutes.
Keeping his eyes focused on the road, Taehyung lifted his arm in the air to give the others a thumbs-up.
"I told you, I have a heavy vehicle license," he replied, his answer was always the same no matter how many times she asked.
Iseul remained unconvinced as she kept her hands firmly gripped on the table, in fear that she might fly across the small space.
"Why do you have a license in that when you don't even own a car?" asked Eunbi.
Taehyung laughed, "I got it whilst I was job-hunting, to make my resume look more attractive. Didn't really work in landing me a job though."
"How long do we have left?" Jungkook spoke softly, his right hand was clutching a paper bag to prepare himself when his stomach could no longer bear the ride.
"Still a long way to go," called out Taehyung, "About one and half hour."
That caused Jungkook to groan loudly as he slumped back on the sofa. He was beginning to regret suggesting the idea of going camping because the travel to the campsite was only getting increasingly painful.
Jungkook had been planning the trip for a few days after Iseul told him that she had never been camping. This came as a shocker for him since back in Busan, camping was his family ritual that happened all the time. Luckily for them, aunt Do-Yeon's boyfriend had a pretty luxurious caravan sitting in his garage. And so they borrowed it, promising her aunt that they would do no damage to the vehicle. However, judging from how the journey was taking place, Iseul began to doubt her ability to keep that promise.
The nature-lover Eunbi couldn't stop herself from joining them. Due to her also being a pretty experienced camper, she was co-leading the team alongside Jungkook. That left Taehyung who had no choice but to tag along because only he had the ability to drive the caravan. Although he didn't mind joining them since he claimed his grandpa recently told him to hang out with his peers more often. Much to Iseul's disappointment, Sora was unable to join them because her boyfriend from abroad came over for a short holiday.
The dreaded ride was soon coming to an end when they passed through gates with a huge sign decorated to it's side, displaying the name of the campsite. After choosing a nice empty spot, Jungkook raced for the door, forcing himself out of the small space.
The evening breeze cooled his body, relaxing his nerves as he took in deep breaths. The others followed after him and began taking out the tent equipment, whilst Jungkook took a few minutes to ease his dizziness and thumping headache.
Before arriving to the venue, they played three rounds of rock, paper, scissors to decide which pair of friends was going to sleep between the tent and the twin bed inside the caravan. Eunbi and Iseul came out as winners due to Eunbi's uncanny ability to always win the particular game, which the other two had no knowledge of until losing to her.
Jungkook and Eunbi worked amongst themselves to set up the tent and canopy since they were familiar with the activity. While the other two brought out the cooking utensils and ingredients. Eunbi had insisted it wouldn't be the real camping experience if they used the kitchen inside the caravan.
When Taehyung took out the cans of beer from a plastic bag, the two girls cheered and high-fived one another.
"That's how you have fun!" hollered Iseul, enthusiastically clapping to see her favourite beverage set on the table.
