RAYA WALKED with Sansa and Septa Mordane in the throne room.

"Someday your husband will sit there and you will sit by his side-"

"More like stand," Raya muttered from beside Sansa. The two girls shared a giggle as Septa Mordane gave them both a look of disproval. They stopped laughing almost immediately  and avoided her gaze.

Raya glanced at the iron throne. It didn't look comfortable, but she was always drawn to it. As a child, her father would allow her climb on it. She remembered that the fun was always cut short when Joffrey would start wailing.

"If I may excuse myself Lady Mordane. Sansa, I shall see you later, at the tournament," Sansa gave her a smile as Raya exited the throne room. Ser Meryn moved to follow her but she dismissed him with a swipe of her hand.

Raya had to meet Arya to take her to her next lesson. Raya missed the days when her Uncle Jamie had allowed her to take lessons before her mother told her ladies don't fight.

But Arya wasn't like her. She no longer had a mother hovering over her, forcing her to be a last. Arya had scrapes and bruises, but she wore them with a smile.

The girl was waiting for Raya in the hall with a giant grin on her face. Raya approached the girl with a small smile of her own.

"Are you ready for your dancing lesson today?" Arya nodded eagerly.

"Your lesson today will be cut short due to the Hand's Tournament," Raya told Arya as they began walking.

"That's fine, I've always wanted to see a jousting match," Arya confessed. Raya chuckled.

"Hopefully something exciting happens in this one," Raya told Arya, "After so many tournaments, it gets kind of old."

They reached the double doors and Arya gave Raya a smile before disappearing behind them.

"Brother!" Raya exclaimed as she locked arms with him. Joffrey glanced at her with a small smile.

"Dear sister, how are you this fine day?" he asked.

Raya smiled at him, "I am doing quite well, how about yourself?"

"I am better now that you're here," Joffrey paused, "I would like to apologize for my behavior on Kingsroad."

She grinned up at him, "Dear brother, you know there is nothing to forgive, siblings argue. We will argue even more when you're king and do not heed my counsel."

Joffrey chuckled, "If I value my life I will listen to you."

This was the Joffrey she knew and loved. This was her big brother and not the spoiled brat that whined for their mother every twelve seconds. They walked together, arms locked to their seats at the tournament. Their mother was already there, along with their father and their two younger siblings.
