RAYA FOLLOWED LADY OLENNA through the many hallways of Highgarden. Loras trailed behind them, as did a few of Raya's guards and the knights of Highgarden. She was slightly confused about how the Queen of Thrones knew about her journey to Highgarden. Margaery said she had been unable to send a raven.

"How did you know we were coming?" Raya asked. Olenna let out a chuckle as she gripped Raya's forearm.

"I know everything Raya, which is why we must speak. Alone," concern filled Raya, but she nodded reluctantly. She turned to the guards who knew that their presence wasn't needed currently. Loras also took his leave, chatting with his fellow knights.

"Come," Olenna told the girl, leading her to the Great Hall. Olenna took the seat at the head of the table and pat the spot next to her. Raya followed her and sat in the seat.

"So, you're a Queen now?" Olenna asked.

Raya wasn't sure how to respond. Currently, Margaery was the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Margaery was also Olenna's granddaughter, which she loved more than anyone else in her family. She didn't want to insult Olenna, who was scarier than any man Raya had ever met.

"I guess," was her answer. Olenna scoffed.

"You guess? Guessing won't get you an army Raya," Olenna said.

"I am the rightful heir," Raya said with more confidence, "But I do not have the men I need to take the throne."

"The throne isn't what you truly want at the moment, is it?" Olenna asked, "What you want is to take Winterfell back for that Stark girl."

Raya didn't deny it, but she did feel a little uncomfortable under Olenna's gaze.

"When Loras requested that we back Renly's claim to the throne, I thought we would win. My stupid son also thought we would win, so he married my granddaughter off to him without a second thought, knowing that she would be the Queen," Olenna told her.

"We supported the wrong Baratheon once before, but this time we're not making that mistake. I believe that you can take the throne. You are smart, you've a good heart and you are not a man. Women are much better leaders than men, don't you think?"

Raya nodded.

"I have not spoken to my granddaughter, but I know that she would want me to support you. In exchange, I ask for a seat on your council."

"Done," Raya said quickly. Olenna smiled at her, reaching out to take Raya's hand into her own.

"You're not your family. Tywin longed for power for all the wrong reasons, and it ended up costing him his life. You want power for all the right ones," Raya tilted her head in confusion.
