Chapter 28

Bryce's P.O.V.

Today is the day we fight the Boss am I ready for it? not really but I have to be! Its 12 in the afternoon so I have time to get ready first I need to figure out what that riddle means. 

"Zach lets figure out that riddle." I said.

"Okay start with the first part." He said.

"Okay... it says 'For a girl to become one of you, you must be one.'" I said.

"Okay so the first line says for the girl to become a cupid the next one means that we have to...." He stopped to think "I don't exactly know what it means by to become one like do we have to have sex or do we get married or what?" He said.

"Maybe its saying that we have to both love each other and mean it. but I am not sure." I said.

"Okay lets get back to it. Whats the next part?" He asked.

"it says 'She must be willing to leave her soul, to gain the power of love.'" I said.

"So she has to somehow loose her soul to gain the power of the cupids." Zach said. "Next." He said.

"Okay next is 'If she is the one for you, She will love you after the change.'" I said.

"So if she is our true soulmate she will still love you. Next one." Zach said.

I nodded. "last line. 'But if you become one and she isn't your true, She will loose her soul for hate.'" I said.

"if she isn't your true soulmate she will loose her...." He paused. "Maybe loose her soul and die or she will never remember you. I don't know I also think its missing something cause how are we supposed to change them?" Zach asked.

"Well we don't have to worry about the last part she is our true soulmate and good point do you know the guy that told us the riddle?" I asked.

"Yeah his name is Jeremy." He said.

"Okay message him and ask us if he can tell us where he read it so we can find it our selves." I said.

"Okay." Zach said and went to the computer.

I looked at my phone and it said it was almost 1 and that I got a message from Bella. I opened up the text.

My Sweet B:
Hey Love.

Me:
Hey B

My Sweet B:
What are you doing?

Me:
Getting ready to see the boss but I am sorry love I have to go I promise after all this I will get back to you I love you remember that.

My Sweet B:
Why does it sound like you are saying goodbye?

Me:
I am not but I am gonna be busy for a little so I wont be able to text you I am sorry after this I promise I will be there for you when ever you please.

My Sweet B:
Awwe I'll miss you :(

Me:
I'll miss you too I have to go so I love you.

My sweet B:
I Love you too 

I put my phone away I am not bringing it with me so I placed it on the side table by my bed.

"Okay so I asked him and it is in a book in the library called 'The Cupid's Love' So when do you want to get it?" He asked.

"After all of this we need to get ready we need to get our weapons and hide them by the Temple we can't carry them in there with us." I said.

"Good point okay so we have a little over one hour to be there and we can not be late. So we should go now to get the weapons. I will tell everyone to be ready." Zach said.

I nodded and put on my shoes. Not my nice pair I do not want blood on them or dirt. After I tied my shoes Zach was ready to go. We walked down to the Armory and grabbed our bows. Yes we have bows to our names each one is different mine is Red and black and has my name on it. I mad sure to grab the right set of arrows we do not want to love arrow we want the Red arrows those are for damage. After we grabbed the bow and arrows we went to the temple and found a great place to put it I realized it will have to be close to where the Boss will be taking us but out of sight. we found this bush close by and placed it in side the bush. I looked at the time and it was 2:30 to get to Boss's Lie detector office it will take 10 minutes. We started to walk there and we made it 20 minutes before. We sat on the waiting chairs and waited to be called in.

"Dude are you ready for this?" Zach said.

"As ready as I'll every be." I said.

We sat there and I saw the Boss walk into the room and called us in.

"Okay Bryce and Zach sit at this table." We sat there and he placed all the stuff needed for the computer t say we are lying or not on our body. 

"Okay guys ready?" Boss said.

"Yeah" Zach and I said. 

"Okay lets start." Boss said.

Look guys 2 days in a row i am on a roll next chapter will be the fight! I would have loved to start today but I do not have time to do it today I just wanted to get to the part and to explain a little about what happened before I was going to skip this part and go straight to the lie detector part where I ended but then I realized that how will you know how they got the weapons in the field with out getting caught with them. and other stuff needed to be on here I PROMISE the next couple of chapters will be interesting!!
