Cupid That Breaks The Rules

Chapter 30

Bryce's P.O.V.

Waiting for the doctor is horrible! Just sitting in the waiting room sucks! It has been 3 hours while Zach is getting surgery on his wound and so far nothing. 

I look at my phone for the first time since I put my phone away after texting Bella. I see that she texted me 20 times asking if I was okay and how she misses me. I decided I should text her. 

Me:
Hey love I missed you sorry I wasn't able to text you.

Bella:
Oh my gosh I miss you is everything alright with work?

Me:
Yes I am fine Zach well not so much.

Bella:
What do you mean?

Me:
I am sitting in the hospital waiting for the doctor to finish the surgery.

Bella:
What do you mean what happened?

Me:
Well there was a war going on between all the cupids verse the Boss and the boss hit Zach with an arrow it didn't kill him but he needed surgery.

Bella:
What the freak Bryce! You could have died why didn't you tell me?

Me:
I will tell you later if you want I will meet you at your house bring Zoey and I will bring you to the Cupid Hospital.

Bella:
Okay.

I put my phone in my pocket and went to the receptionist "If anything happens give me a call I will be right back." I said the the doctor at the counter. He nodded and I left.

I went to Bella's house and saw that Zoey just pulled in.

"What did Bella mean when she told me Zach is in the hospital?" Zoey yelled at me.

"I'll explain everything when we get to the hospital."  I said.

I walk to the door and Bella beat me to it and pulled me in to a hug. "Don't you ever go into war without telling me ever again." She said.

"War?" Zoey said.

"Yes Zach and Bryce here went to war with the other cupids... wait can I say that out loud now?" She asked I nodded, "Okay the other cupids and that's all I know." Bella said.

"Okay now you have to talk mister." Zoey said. 

"Okay I will I promise but I would like to go back to the hospital so I can know if my best friend is okay." I said. They nodded and walked with me to the house where I go from and to the cupid head quarters. "Okay girls I need you to hold on to my arms so we can get there. I do not know how normal humans react to this so be prepared you might have a head ache or dizziness." I said.

They grabbed on my arms and landed in the hospital waiting room. I look at the girls and they seem fine... nevermind they almost fell. "Are you okay?" I asked 

"Yeah just dizzy." They both said.

I nodded went to the doctor at the counter, "Anything happened when I was gone?" I asked.

"Yesthe doctor came out to tell you something." He said.

"And you didn't call me or notify me when that happened?" I asked.

"I...I... I am sorry Boss." He said.

"Boss?" Bella asked.

I ignored her "It's fine do you know when that happened?" I asked I wasn't going to yell at him.

"Just like a minute before you showed up sir." He said.

"Okay if you can can you go tell the doctor I am here and that he can talk to me now." I said. He nodded and got up.

I turn back to the girls and see them sitting on the waiting chairs.

"Okay so time to tell the story." I said. They nodded.

"Okay remember the day I went down and told you about us, well boss became suspicious and asked us to do a lie detector. We couldn't deny it so I made up a plan to fight him. We told all the cupids what the boss was hiding and they all wanted to fight him. So the day of the test we planned on to attack. We told every cupid to meet us at this place where cupids loose their cupids. Don't worry it only happens when the boss says this riddle thing. Anyways so when we took our test and failed he brought us to the place. We started the fight and turns out he found out about the war and brought back up. We were doing so great it was now all the cupids verse just the boss. He aimed at Zach I yelled for him to move right when he moved the boss shot and hit him on the shoulder barley missing his heart. I fell to the floor waiting to get shot I thought I lost my best friend I was dying in the inside when I opened my eyes one of the cupids killed him and I ran to Zach he was still breathing and talking. Everyone called me the new boss and so now we are here." I said.

All I get back from them is Bella slapping in in the face. 

"What was that for?" I asked.

"For choosing death over me! How do you think I would have felt if you died and I would have no clue? What would Zoey feel not knowing what happened to Zach? You would have killed all of us! We would have no clue what happened because you didn't tell us you were going into war, which you still need to explain that!" She yelled.  

"Okay I see your point, I didn't tell you because I Didn't want to risk ruining the plan or your safety. If he knew for sure we were going to fight him he would have went straight to you to hurt or even kill you to make us weak." I replied.

"Okay so now what?" Bella said Zoey staying pretty quiet I think she is thinking.

"Well now we can for sure be soulmates We can talk when ever we want with out being watched. I am now the boss so I am making it to every cupid can have their soulmates." I said.

"Okay so what are we going to do when I start aging and you still stay like this hot god that you are?" She said.

"Well there is this riddle that this cupid read but he didn't remember the full riddle, so I am going to talk to him more about it and see if we can find out more about it, but it says we can make girls into cupids but the girls have to be our true soulmates. Which we are but there's a problem part of the riddle says we need to become one, which I am not sure if that means we need to have you know or what so I need to read the whole riddle to find out more about it." I said.

"So I can become a Cupid!!!!" Bella said with a smile on her face.

I laughed "Yes but right now lets not worry about that and be here for Zach." I said.

She nodded and sat back down. I was about to sit down when the doctor came out. "Boss"

I walked to him "Yes"

"So Zach did good throughout his surgery. He is now recovering Depending on his healing he may or may not be able to move his arm ever again but that depends on his healing." He said.

"When can we see him?" I asked.

"Tomorrow he needs to rest for today but tomorrow he should be awake." He said,  I nodded and the doctor went back to the room.

"So girls what are we going to do?" I asked.

Bella and Zoey look at each other and smile. "We want a tour of this place!" They yell.

"A tour of the hospital its the same as a normal Hospital." I said.

"No you dummy of the cupid world!" Bella said.

"Okay." I said and we walked out of the hospital.

I hope you guys like this chapter and bella is back! Next chapter will be in Bella's p.o.v.  I hope I can write the next chapter sooner! Plus I now have a new laptop that I can use that does't cause me problems when writing! Comment or vote or both Love you all!
