Cupid That Breaks The Rules

Chapter 32

Bella's P.O.V.

This tour was long there was so much to look at, everything was so different then earth even though they used a lot of stuff from there. Bryce took us to see the place he and every cupid sleeps, which I found out that they really don't need sleep they just sleep because they are bored. He showed us the library which I can't wait to read some books I bet there are things here that can be knowledgeable. 

Right now we are about to go to find the Soulmate of the now dead old boss. Bryce is trying to stall, rolling my eyes "Babe come on You know her name is Sally, and don't you now your bosses name?" 

"I need to know her last name, and I don't know the old boss name.... wait there might be a cupid that does." Bryce said.

"So who is it?" I asked.

"It's Zach see now we have to wait till he wakes up." Bryce said trying to get out of it. I gave him the look that means to shut his mouth and to really tell me, "Fine I don't know his name but he is the one that told me about the riddle." He finished.

"Alright was that so hard now come on lets go find him." I said. Bryce puff out air loudly and walked towards the library again. "Why the library?" I asked.

"Because I have him doing research on the riddle, so he will be in here somewhere." He said. He opened the door to the Library for me I walked in and he followed right after me. By the way I forgot to mention Zoey went back to the Hospital after the tour she wanted to be there for Zach. 

Once we were inside the library Bryce walked towards the computers and I guess he wasn't there because he took off in the other direction and was looking down the isles. I was just following him around and looking around enjoying the view there are so many books I wonder if there are books from earth here or just books about goddesses and gods. I will have to find out! 

I felt like I was following Bryce forever, "Babe are you stalling?" I asked.

"No I think he is in the back of the library where there are these old scrolls are hidden." He said. Which turned out he was right, There were shelves after shelves of scrolls and a guy on a ladder trying to get a scroll.

"Hey!" Bryce said. The guy jumped a little of shock then looked down and saw us.

"Oh hey boss what are you doing here? If you want to know more about that riddle I can't find anything about it I promise I will tell you as soon as I do" He said while he was climbing down the ladder, he got off the ladder and walked over to me "Hey you much be the bosses soulmate I am Jake, and your name beautiful?" He took his hand out for me to shake. 

I shook his hand "It's Bella so Bryce here needs to ask you a question." I said, trying to ignore that he called me beautiful and Bryce here being super stiff as if he is about to punch him.

"Yeah do you know the old bosses name by any chance? And one thing don't you call my soulmate beautiful that is my job and ...." I interrupted him "Babe he was being nice calm down don't want to scare him. He seems like a nice guy and he knows i am yours he mentioned it earlier so be nice!" I said. Bryce looked at me and I raised my eyebrow. 

"Uh I believe in our History class the teacher said his name was Benjamin Smalls" Jake said. 

"Thank you Jake I will let you get back to work remember don't work to hard take breaks when you can." Bryce said, he seems to have cooled down. 

"Your welcome boss any time and thank you for letting me do this, this gives me a chance to actually read these old things." He said. 

Bryce smile and I smiled at him "It was nice meeting you Jake hope to see you again!" I said.

"I'll be here in this library either at the computers or back here if you ever want to hang. See you later Bell" He said going to the table with a scroll. 

We walked away and out of the Library "You are not going to hang out with him alone." Bryce Said.

"Oh my Bryce I Love you and only you if I want to be friend him he will be my friend. The only time we would hang out is in the library anyways." I said, as we walk back to the office.

When we got there Bryce sat on the Desk chair I sat on his lap and Bryce typed in Benjamin Smalls in the search bar, it loaded and we found out that her name was Stacy Winters, She lived in a small town in Idaho. I wrote down the address. 

"Okay you ready for this?" I asked

He nodded and he grabbed my hand and we left.

  I am sorry I took a while to post I have been busy with work and I did start college. So I am now having to make time for homework and college and work to write a chapter. I also decided to write today to take my mind off of what happened on Sunday... If you haven't heard about the mass shooting in Las Vegas it was bad, over 59 people died and over 500 people injured. Well someone that I knew got shot and died and a couple injured. So if any of you know what I am talking about and had a friend, a family member or anyone that got killed or injured I am sorry I know how you are feeling #PrayforVegas
