Chapter 35

Bella's P.O.V.

We finally get there it took long. I get out of the car stretch my legs out cause sitting in a car for hours sucks. I look at this house it is a small house, I go in front of the car and Bryce stood next to me.

"I forgot the Bosses name." Bryce said. 

I look at him. "Really?" I asked.

"Yeah we never called him by his name. So it never came to my mind to mind." 

"Well it is Benjamin Smalls." I said. 

"How did you remember that?" He asked

"Because I have good memory plus I knew you would forget." I said and started walking towards the front door not waiting for Bryce to respond.

I get to the door and knocked on the door a few times, Bryce was next to me now looking at me and also looking nervous. "What do we say?" he whispered.

"Just let me do the talking." I whispered back. He nodded and then the door opened. 

"Hello, who are you?" This pretty lady said.

"My name is Bella and this here is Bryce, we know your friend Benjamin and we need to tell you something but you might want to sit down for this." I said. 

"Oh no what happened to Ben?" She asked.

"May we come in and talk?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah sure dear My name is Sally." She said stepped back and held the door open for us to go in. 

We we walked in I had no clue where to go so Bryce and I waited for her to close the door and we followed her to the living room I am guessing. 

"Do you guys want something to drink tea, coffee, water,  or soda?" Sally asked.

"No thank you." Tyler and I said together. 

"Alright let me sit down and please tell me what happened to Ben." She said.

This is going to be harder then I thought she is so nice. She sat down on the opposite couch while me and Bryce sat on the same couch. 

"So first off tell me what you know of Ben?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Never mind so Ben got into a fight with the wrong people and those people killed him. He is no longer with us and I am so sorry for having to tell you this I know it is hard I lost my mother." I said hoping if i brought sympathy from me it will help.

"Oh no! I can't believe this we were gonna get married I was engaged to him. I loved him he was my everything, he was so sweet, and caring." She said, I looked at Bryce and he looked like he was holding in a laugh. I nudged him.

 "Well I am so sorry for telling you this do you want us to do anything for you? We are here for you." I said.

"Can I just be able to have a funeral for him here?" She asked. 

"Yeah we will get his body over here and I will send you an email when he should get here would I be able to get your email before we leave?" I asked.

"Of course darling." She said and scribbled her email on a piece of paper, then handed it to me. 

"Well I guess we should let you be I am truly sorry for your loss." I said.

"It's fine dear thank you for letting me know even though it was a hard on to do.  I am also sorry for you loosing your mom I know it must be hard." She said.

"It is but it got easier to deal with after a while I still miss her." I said. 

"Of course it is hard, well come by if you ever need a place to come to I am more then happy to accept you here." She said with a genuine smile as she was walking us to the door. 

Once we left and got into the car. "She was so sweet!" I said.

"Yeah how did the ex boss find her she is nothing like him and she said he was sweet and caring?" He said.

"Maybe he had his true side with her and his mean side at work?" I said.

"Naww I don't believe that." He said, "but after talking to her it did make me feel guilty for doing what we did." He continued. 

We left and drove back to the house.
